The view from room was lovely. We liked the grounds, the large clean spacious rooms, the spa facilities and breakfast were excellent, the staff were all amazing. This is a lovely hotel.

Big and comfortable bed, in the city center of Luton, is 5 minutes away from the bus station where we were drop off from airport. The staff was exceptional, they helped us with everything, we could deposit our luggages there for the entire day before we went back to the airport. There is an english breakfast available: beans, omlette, sausages, 2 types of bread, freshly baked pain au chocolat and croissant, jam, yogurt, cereals.

For a 2-star and for the price it was fine. Was surprised by the online check-in procedure but it went smoothly enough. Were concerned about a couple of dodgy looking characters hanging outside the main entrance when we arrived, but that was unfounded. Got to our allocated room and it stank of cigarettes, which was shocking for a non-smoking hotel. Complained by text since that was the only means of contact with the hotel that we had and were immediately transferred to another room, which was a very pleasant outcome, especially as we were considering cutting our losses and going elsewhere. The new room was fine. The negative reviews can be off-putting but it has to be remembered that it is a 2-star and it is cheap. Can't say if we will back because it is extremely unlikely that we'll be back in Luton as this was for exceptional reasons, but we wouldn't not consider this place if we were.
