The place looked a little rough on the outside but the room was clean and tidy, it was good to have the extra facilities of a microwave and fridge. Got a good nights sleep.

The staff were incredible from the moment I called to explain the reason for my visit, until I left. Sim was so supportive & understanding on the phone & Claire looked after me by name & in person for my whole stay. I felt extremely supported & looked after which made my whole experience much easier as a solo guest. My room was incredible!!!! I never wanted to leave!! Stunning suite!! Would certainly return.

I felt indulged the whole time! The staff, the care, the attention to detail, the food, the building, the Pavilion (where we had our meetings) were all definite plusses. My room was lovely—and a great touch was the coffee machine; no nasty instant stuff here! It was good to have so much storage space and such a lovely shower. I had left my washkit at home; this was no matter as shampoo, etc., was supplied, and within a few minutes of ordering a toothbrush and toothpaste via the hotel's online app, the lovely concierge delivered them to my room. The grounds were pretty. I eat gluten-free, and that was cheerfully accommodated.

Poor facilities, no toilet paper, no oven, watered down washing-up liquid, and soap dispensers 'doctored' with something that smells like Ajax or other industrial cleaner. Entrance door was left wide open when we came down in the morning, compromising the security for the whole house and flooding the kitchen floor with rain. Noisy neighbours running up and down the stairs and shouting and screaming loudly until late at night. Poor show all-round.

There was nothing that we liked.
There was nothing that we liked. Needs a complete overhaul refurbishment and photos to display the true view from the front as it is very misleading. The parking was not good. The key safe system was not good it would have been nice if someone was there on arrival to greet and explain things that are and not available. Sorry but we would not stay there again. Very disappointed to what the photo shows.

I arrived after dark. The room smelled iffy. I opted not to put on the light. Used ear plugs but slamming door and lights flashing through blinds kept me awake for a long time. This is a bungalow with no reception that bears no resemblance to the property photographs. It is warm, the single beds had clean linen and the kettle worked. As the shower had just one temperature - boiling hot, it was unusable. This meant that I did not need more than the one small towel provided (bonus). I awoke in the dark to the iffy smell and chose not to switch the light on until I was washed and dressed. I was unsurprised to see food stains on the rough carpet, basic decoration / fittings or mould all over the grouting in the shower. I did not find an iron or a hair dryer. Having seen the state of the floor I would recommend packing slippers (or wellies).
