Everything. From beginning to end, all the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. One of our motorcycles broke down. They were happy for us to leave it and our luggage there, while we could return to retrieve it. Arrived there quite stressed after a challenging journey. Large, comfy room. Yummy breakfast, nice food in the bar and a very welcome couple of beers.

The price was reasonable. The hotel facilities are basic but adequate. The bed wasn't big enough, the breakfast was good for the money. The dining room didn't cope well with high numbers.

Since we were in Stilton we thought we'd better buy some cheese. My wife went up and down the town but couldn't find any. She was lamenting this to the hotel receptionist when she revealed that they sold it. Problem solved in the most civilized way.

Beautiful hotel full of character.
Beautiful hotel full of character. Staff were all extremely polite and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. A total joy to stay here. Food was excellent. Absolutely nothing to criticise. We are looking forward to staying again and will bring friends with us next time.
