I was pleased to find that the bedding wasn't washed and dried with strong smelling products as I have allergies.

We liked the historical architecture and views and gardens. Comfortable bed. Convenient for visiting the south Devon area.

Visiting Staverton was a great experience. Our daughter and son-in-law live in Staverton and that was the purpose of our visit. We had such a wonderful time, walking the trails. taking the steam train into Totnes, which is a great place to shop! We were there in May and the spring weather with all the plants and flowers blooming, it was so picturesque! We have so many wonderful photos to remember our fantastic time in Staverton. We will be back hopefully sooner than later.
We loved the exceptionally comfortable beds, the generously luxurious details (beds and bathrooms like a 5* hotel), nothing too much trouble for our hosts. Delicious breakfast well worth booking in extra if it’s not part of the room rate. The place itself is beautiful, a large farm, laid out so you can wander about and see what’s going on. Really friendly and creative team running everything.
