I truly enjoyed the spa facilities and the food was great, the room and bathroom was clean to a high standard. Overall the hotel is lovely. Oh yes you never know what famous person you may see/ meet at breakfast.
Just off junction 24 of the M1 and only a 5-minute drive from East Midlands Airport, this hotel offers free secure parking. Donington Race Track is also 5 minutes’ drive away.

The buses into Nottingham are really good and regular, start early and finish late and they also go to Derby. Don't rely on cafe's being open, we had to walk some distance past several unopened cafe's before we came to a takeaway with tables that we could get a meal in! Most likely a good place as a base to go elsewhere. There seem to be a plethora of takeaways

Although travelling by car, noticed very close to bus route to Nottingham and Derby, bus stop right outside hotel

There are two takeaways 2 mins away and a pub with a good selection of beers.

Easy walking distance to the town and Aldi is nearly next door!
You get a tv, a kettle plus private shower and toilet.
