It was all lovely! Karen was a great host and super cook. The room so spacious, the bed very big and comfortable. The bathroom huge and extremely clean. Perfect!

Very disappointing to find that breakfast and evening meals were unavailable, despite requesting these when I booked. The website and even the board outside referred to menu choices.

Location was perfect for my trip. The food and service in the restaurant was great. I liked the breakfast box they offered as I was leaving before they could serve me.

A comfortable room. There was a good choice at breakfast with fresh fruit salad, yogurts and different cereals. There was also a choice of cooked food and the scrambled eggs, salmon and mushrooms was excellent. The host was extremely helpful and friendly.

It was very cute, cozy and quiet. Despite it very small size it had absolutely everything we needed.

This place is just beautiful, a really lovely place to getaway to. The breakfast basket was a lovely touch, the host greeted us on arrival and showed us where everything was. The communication was brilliant beforehand, the place is a little hard to find just from the satnav but the written explanation made it easy to find.
We had a lovely time just escaping from the world for a couple of days!
Great place!
Communication with the hosts was detailed & friendly. Although we never got a chance to meet them they were very welcoming.
So lovely to find this little gem & able to accommodate dogs!
Highly recommended 👌

Sherbourne Gardens were lovely to walk round.
Lulworth Cove beautiful as always.
Stalbridge has a couple of pubs. Fish/chip shop which must have been good as long queue outside. Although we didn't go there. Local Chinese takeaway - good food. It has a lovely local Supermarket which sells everything!!
Avoid your Sat Nav on reaching Stalbridge it takes you to remote places.

The independent shop in Stalbridge, called Dikes, had everything you could want for a weekend stay. All the basics plus some luxury items by local food suppliers. I was only there for one night but will definitely stay longer next time.
