They listened to the request for a quiet room, which was very peaceful, away from the central area of the hotel. Spacious room with good facilities and ample parking.

It is a great location which is not far from any of the activities we had planned (alton towers, hoo zoo and the monkey forest) with great transport links to so many places that you would easily be able to extend the holiday of you wanted to! It was very easy to get around stafford but it does look like the highstreet has taken a huge hit with not much there, sadly this is something I've seen a lot of with covid so we stayed at the new riverside bit when we realised and just to the cinema. The food at the zizii in riverside was excellent and the staff very friendly. If you want a busy and jam-packed highstreet this probably isn't the place for you, but it does have enough and is surrounded by other amazing towns and activities as well as being very beautiful and easy to both drive and walk around.

We live locally & only stayed as it was close to a music festival we attended. Lots of places to visit in surrounding areas though. Pretty villages, walking, canals, historic places to visit too. We didn't visit anywhere else but have done so previously so recommend Shugborough, Stafford Castle, Attingham,

Stafford is underrated as a place to visit.
Stafford is underrated as a place to visit. The town Centre is a gem. St Chad’s Church is steeped in history and the volunteer guides are very good. The Ancient High House is open and houses a museum, which is free to visit.

Main square is under construction at present, there is a market every Tuesday and thursday, its got a few stalls there, loads of lovely tea rooms and places to eat. Timmys is good, loads of choice. Near to Cheshire oaks shopping centre, and trentham oaks shopping village. A few good shops in stafford, and we visited a comedy club night at the local theatre. If your a fan of unique hand made pieces, go to the bottom of the main high street, there's a lovely wee shop selling them. The soup kitchen is a lovely place to eat, from meals to tea and cake.

Never been to Stafford before.
Never been to Stafford before. The Vine Hotel was very quaint. Well worth the money. Had a good night sleep. Room and bathroom needs updating but was perfectly usable. Staff were very professional and friendly. Had a walk through the High Street is a work in progress pavements were being do e as well as I've work. Went to Bictoria Park and had a walk along the river and then the gardens was lovely. There was a market and plenty of shos to go in as well as a miseim. Wished we had more time as there it would have been nice to have seen more. Seems there is a lot to see in Stafford if you have the time. My stay this time was too short.

The room was first class and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The dinner was vey good although it took two and a half hours (6pm - 8.30pm) which I think was down to lack of staff and the hotel being very busy. The breakfast was excellent. We found the car park difficult to find and a little more information would have been helpful.
Breakfast was excellent. Room was very good. We had dinner in the lounge bar, which was flexible and suited us as we only wanted a light snack on the second night and we'd been out to a big family lunch. The location was perfect after a long journey - easy access from M6, but quiet and secluded just a few miles out of Stafford. Also plenty of parking spaces. We will definitely stay here again when visiting family in the area.
Probably the best hotel bed I have slept in for a number of years . The towels were proper bath towels, and fluffy, superb, and what a change from what some hotels consider "bath" towels . Room was warm, but just right, not too warm. Great shower.TV was wall mounted and at least 36" screen. Tea and coffee provided plus lots of biscuits! I will definitely use this hotel every time I need to be in the Staffordshire area.
Really enjoyed my stay at the Vine. Centrally located so really easy to get to all of Stafford's shops and restaurants. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and breakfast was served 8am until 11am and was great value. If popping to Stafford for a visit I thoroughly recommend staying here. Excellent value for money and relaxed, homely atmosphere.
This was my 3rd visit to Stafford and 2nd time staying at the vine Hotel. Nothing is too much trouble for Martin he always goes above and beyond. Rooms are clean with good facilities everything you need for a base to stay. The location is excellent, literally a stones throw away from the town centre.
Staff friendly and informative , room clean & comfortable hotel in great location in the middle of Stafford. Food was nice, we couldn't go into restaurant as we had our dog with us, they had set up a little table in the resection area by the windows, which was nice for evening meal & breakfast. .
Booked last minute, the venue was close to the venue I was attending (Stafford Showground), for a reasonable price and I was able to take my dog. It was easy to find and had a car park. The room had everything I needed, was clean and comfortable - excellent shower!
we just needed somewhere clean and comfotable to stay for a night and this hotel was more than adequate, and for the price it was good value, a restaurant /bar would have been good especially as there is neither on the service area.
Safe and secure with parking available. Responsive hosts and very flexible. The tidy kitchenette was equipped and clean. I would definitely book again if I am in Staffordshire next for a few days in a row.
Nice hotel, attractive building and surroundings, easy to find. Rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. Bathroom was fine. Enjoyed the breakfast, very good croissants. Free and plentiful parking.
Liked the decor (hedgehog theme in the bedroom cute) and thought the place was well equipped. It was an ideal spot for visiting relatives in Stafford. Perfect for Cannock Chase.
