Great location for touring Northumberland and Scotland.
Great hosts who could do no more for us as we enjoyed their hospitality.
Great bar and breakfast room and great breakfast also included in the price.
Great if you also want a golfing trip as large golf course just a couple of miles away.
Lovely warm bedrooms.

Very friendly helpful staff, interesting mix of purpose within the renovated old granary. Good to see an old building repurposed instead of flattened.

We loved it all!! Can't add much to previous posts but Sarah was just the most enthusiastic and bubbly host and nothing was too much trouble. Not that we had to ask for anything. A lovely place to stay.

I needed to be away early and Margaret was more than happy to accommodate with an early breakfast. The room had spectacular views both up and down the river. Easy walking to town where there are any number of restaurants - I had a fabulous Indian meal in the centre of town at Amrans. Lots of car parking at the property.

The beach has a nice landscape, if on the slightly mournful side because of the grey skies. But it is a very northern English coast after all! The water quality was good, though a bit colder than what I suspect most people would be used to. The sand was soft and clean.
