Lovely hotel with really pleasant, attentive reception staff.
The room was perfect, bath / shower / toiletries tea & coffee facilities / iron & board
Immaculately clean with good towels & bedding. Bed was super comfortable
Highly recommend the breakfast, again the restaurant staff were marvellous, so friendly. It didn't feel like a hotel restaurant & you have a glorious view of the runway.
Food itself was spot on, plenty to choose from & lots of options. Even the coffee was decent 👌
I would 100% stay here again

The Pier walk was great and visit to the lifeboat at the end. We also loved 'Beaches' Restaurant and the 'Oyster Kitchen' We loved walking along the coast both ways. Leigh on Sea had some super little independent boutiques; "Ruby's" for one and an amazing boutique called "A Touch Too Wild" where the owner could give Gok Wan a run for his money! Southend is great for walking or there is an open topped bus - we just walked until we found somewhere lovely to stop for a rest; we had "Elevenses at The Oyster Creek Kitchen, then 'put the steps in' browsed the boutiques in Leigh on Sea and then enjoyed great food at an Italian Bistro which served superb food! Our Guest House had its own parking and was convenietly situated beteeen Leigh on Sea and Southend itself. We stated for three nights and feel completely refreshed!

I went just at the start of the Easter break, and it was nice and quiet, I imagine it being a popular summer resort. Good facilities with plenty of eateries. Travelling around Southend was okay, gets busy during rush-hour. Great long walks along the esplanade and the pier. A lot of the shops were closed during close-season.

I lived in Southend for many years, this was a visit to see family and attend a family gathering. The town (I will never call it a city) is a shadow of its former self. I wouldn't go to Southend unless I had a specific reason, it just isn't as welcoming as it used to be and the high street is dead.
In the summer, short break with young children who want no more than the beach and this place would be ok. There are some decent restaurants but stay out of the town centre for those.

Going around visiting places. Eating out.
Going around visiting places. Eating out. Great taxi service. Hotel was not so good. Not disabled friendly. Fell in bathroom not built for anyone who is disabled.. Hurt myself quite bad. Screaming in agony. Apart from that. Will not be staying in this hotel again

Southend (bearing in mind our visit was in Winter!)
Southend (bearing in mind our visit was in Winter!) is actually really nice. We didn't expect much (we expected Morecambe, but got Southport!). There decent shops; the promenade was clean and open. We ate in The Last Post, but would certainly try other places when we visit again.
It is hard to give a fair representation of a town after a very brief visit, but it made a sufficiently good impression for us to want to see more, when the opportunity arises

- The property was right on the seafront, with a lovely view. Extremely easy to get to from Southend central train station. Staff was absolutely great, kind and fantastic communication and is very flexible with checking-in/out times! This little place if perfect for a family of 3 - with cafes open in the morning along the seafront and the amusement & seafront fun for the little one.
The room we stayed in had all we need and received a really nice treat for our daughter upon arrival.
I would definitely book to stay again x
The location is perfect. The West Cliff hotel is an elegant, quiet and pleasant area overlooking the sea and a short walk through gardens to the beach/seafront. It is also easy walking to the Pier and all the entertainment, so you miss nothing by staying here. The hotel was in the older, more classic style rather than modern, but for the price was excellent.
The accommodation is very well kept, neatly furnished, spotlessly clean. It is located within short walking distance of the seafront, the train station, and local shopping. The management was very responsive when we had a housekeeping request. The kitchen facilities were perfect for our needs.
The Hotel location was perfect for us, just across the road from the beach and away from the hustle and bustle. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back.
I loved everything about the Seven Hotel. Simply AMAZING. 10 out of 10. Very clean, comfortable, well presented. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone looking for a break in Southend-on-Sea. You won't be disappointed.
Centrally located , right on the seafront , quiet and walking distance to a few restaurants . Laura was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great . We would definitely stay there again . Thank you . A&L
I have stayed here 3-4 times before and will always go back if I am working in this area. The breakfast is exceptional, the rooms are basic, but everything you need including a fridge and kept clean.
I liked the area, bang in town and on seafront, workers friendly, nice room. They made up our room for my daughters birthday, and she loved it, It was so appreciated, thank you park inn.
We had tickets for an event at Cliffs Pavilion so the proximity was amazing. Easy parking out front. Lots of seating in the lobby and bar area. Breakfast in the morning was nice.
The hotel was extremely clean quiet and well looked after and the staff absolutely amazing, highly recommend to everyone and will most definitely stay again.
