Really loved the location and view. Perfect for our plans to visit local National Trust properties.
Bruno greeted us on arrival and nothing was too much trouble. Bruno is the ideal host, making our stay such a great experience..

Excellent breakfast and service. We had two evening meals from the same menu. First was excellent but second was a bit disappointing possibly because the restaurant was busier. Very comfortable bed and nice en suite and room very clean. Very helpful friendly staff.
The Spa Hotel is an elegant country mansion just a 15-minute walk from Tunbridge Wells Rail Station.

I'd asked for a quiet room - 230 was perfect, right at the end of a corridor, with a nice view over the garden.
I'm a regular customer. All was as it should be.
Overlooking Tunbridge Wells Common, The Royal Wells Hotel is a traditional hotel within walking distance of the town centre. It offers 2 restaurants, 3 bars and free parking.
A Grade II Listed mansion built in 1762, Hotel du Vin Tunbridge Wells has a fine restaurant and stylish rooms. Tunbridge Wells Rail Station is a 3-minute drive away.
This trip was intended for two days. It turned out that we had to deal with a family emergency while we were there and we were able to book a further 4 nights in the room.
The staff were AMAZING, helpful, caring , kind, friendly and totally, professional., Tristan , Bruno and Solly in particular . As well as the lovely ladies that cleaned the room during our stay.
You cannot buy that service . We cannot recommend this place enough.

I booked the room as I was going to the pantiles for a party. There is a good bus service and it was reasonable to get a taxi back. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I had a lovely lunch of prawns and a Buck’s Fizz before I left in the morning.

Very pleasant area we were visiting Sissinghurst and Chartwell. There is a cricket ground just across the road from the hotel and to sit and watch an evening game while enjoying a glass or two of real ale is a joy. I don't mind if you switch the beer for wine but please not Larger!
We did enjoy a potion of chips from the chippy just down the road.

Hever Castle is amazing.
Hever Castle is amazing. The grounds are stunning and the most beautiful backdrop for a picnic.
Southborough was the perfect choice for a visit as the amenities are so close, woodland is lovely and a lot of the surrounding architecture and past houses are just as interesting and beautiful as the nature surrounding them.

we stayed at the inn keepers lodge which was lovely downstairs but the bathroom in our room was covered in mould on the shower tiles.
they offered to move us to another roombut it was exactly the same.
It was a goodbase and the food was wonderful but dont stay in the rooms untill they are re furbished.
The staff are extremely friendly, welcoming, helpful, and accommodating. They allowed us to check in early after a long journey which we were so grateful for. The room itself was lovely, clean, cosy, and well maintained. It is quiet in the hotel even though there is a restaurant and pub downstairs.
The hotel is in a village which is quaint and great for long walks and visiting castles. I would recommend this hotel for an authentic English B&B experience.
WOW!! I had stayed here before a long time ago and didn't know it had recently been fully refurbished! The pub and the hotel looked totally different and so much better! There was nothing I didn't like. The room, the cleanliness, the food, the staff and my whole stay was really enjoyable. I will definitely stay again when I'm in the area.
Situated on the main road into Southborough, a handy place to stop.
Large bar and restaurant area serving a good selection of food and drink.
The room itself was more than adequate to lay your head for the night, with a good-sized bathroom and walk-in shower.
The hotel was beautiful clean. The staff were amazing they went above and beyond for what we needed. It’s a great location. Beautiful views food was better than expected. The bridal party was massively thankful for everything I did.
The clean, smart and well presented room and shower room were perfect for a short stay. The bed was extremely comfortable and although the room was at the front of the hotel (nearest the road) the soundproofing was excellent.
Great pub / hotel just outside Tunbridge Wells, Great staff, excellent food & drinks - Nice comfy room.
Location was great but the road a little noisy.
