Hotel staff, very pleasant and friendly, I had my Rottweiler Malone with me , everybody loved him, the dog friendly rooms , they have dog bed, toys , water bowls. My van had broken down, and they allowed me to stay in the car park while I waited for recovery. Could not fault the hotel and staff, I would recommend this place.

Probably the best located accommodation in Huddersfield and great value for money.
Staff were incredibly friendly and check-in was so easy!
Rooms were great size (and cool during the hot weather!)

Slaithwaite is a lovely town in a rural setting on the canal. It is only an hour away from all the major cities in the area and well connected by road and rail. You can drive in to The Peak district with ease. Great bakery, good pubs, an Aldi supermarket and welcoming locals.
