Very comfortable and very clean. Quiet location over-looking open fields. Plenty of free parking. There are two bedrooms with double four-poster beds. The rooms are particularly pleasant and comfortable. Both with ensuite shower/loo. You have the whole cottage and gardens so plenty of room for families. You are about 20 minutes from Beverley. This cottage is self-catering with well equipped kitchen, large enough for a family of six at the kitchen table. Two triple-seat sofas in the lounge, plus chair. Recommended.
Situated in Hornsea, the recently renovated Fishtail House - Stylish Apartments minutes from the sea features accommodation 10 km from Skipsea Castle Hill and 28 km from Hull New Theatre.

Skipsea is an ideal base location for bridlington, and North Yorkshire coast line. The facilities are what you would expect for a campsite, but the clubhouse is a good walk.
There are a couple of get downs, but these are not suitable for people unsteady on the legs, this is due to coastal erosion which occurs yearly during spring and hightides.
Use willy tide times on Google.

Although you can no longer access the beach of Skipsea due to it being unsafe to do so - it is eroding at a tremendous and tragic rate, it isn't much of a drive to Bridlington which has the north and south beaches. The north beach is dog friendly and is a great place to visit, the parking is reasonable and the toilets are free. The south beach is where the shopping and food is and has a gluten free menu at the fish and chip restaurant near the sea. Bridlington has a great promenade, from the North beach and is great for if you don't like walking on the sand or have a wheelchair.
