The staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful. The shower was great, the bed was comfortable and the steaks in the restaurant are excellent. We were also grateful to the staff for helping us out when we had to leave a day early because of a flight time change. They accommodated the early departure without charging us even though we had guaranteed payment at time of reservation. That is good customer service.

Judge me for a stay and I did not sleep in the bed. I went there and they told me to come back later. I was under the impression I was allowed to book straight in. It was the middle of the night and I needed a bed so I had to go somewhere else.

Skelmersdale itself is just okay, but the opportunity to visit the surrounding area is worth it. A visit to Martin Mere Wetlands Trust is a must, also Dunham Massey for the deerpark. Pimbo garden Centre has a fantastic cafe and lovely friendly and helpful staff
The hotel is lovely the staff are very friendly and welcoming and very helpful, our rooms were very nice and the bed was very comfortable. The price of the drinks are reasonable and the food is as well, we had breakfast as well and it was very nice and it was all locally sourced. The grounds of the hotel are very nice and there’s plenty of patio areas to sit on overall we had an excellent 2 nights and we will definitely be staying again.
Friendly helpful staff doing an amazing job. Fabulous evening meal had in the bar/lounge area - steak cooked to perfection. Breakfast lovely as well. Outside area lovely but wet weather meant we were unable to enjoy.
Stayed when restrictions, due to Covid-19 pandemic, were in place and the hotel did an amazing job of keeping everything clean and procedures in place to keep guests comfortable and comfortable.
Breakfast was excellent, good range of products and quality items served in a buffet style. Really helpful and friendly staff. The size of the suite we stayed in was very good. Overall decor of the hotel is nice with a mixture of modern and traditional in the main part of the hotel. Good size car park for ample parking. Free parking too.
All of our stay was catered for. I have to follow a gluten free diet and the hotel catered for my requirements really well. Our room was was very clean and well equipped. The staff were very friendly and polite.
