Quiet & peaceful all amenities close by e.g. restaurants shops post office which I needed, posted a parcel for sister's birthday which arrived the following day...happy days. The bed was comfortable. Small fridge which kept our milk cold enough for cereal in the morning.

The bungalow, breakfast and friendly staff. Food was good too.

It looks nice and was comfortable but was expensive for the actual quality of the apartment advertised. No breakfast is provided by the butcher even though the link referred to one being supplied. Unfortunately the fridge and shower did not work correctly and the customer is required to strip the beds after their stay. More suitable for AirBNB than Booking.com.

Seahouses is a fishing town with a number of shops to have a wander round. There are plenty of places to eat, mostly on the expensive side though the food is good. There is crazy golf but more importantly a fantastic beach. There are sea trips out to sea seals and birds and fishing trips as well.

The house is accessible to everyone with really good facilities, comfortable seating, the biggest dining table ever seen and really well-appointed bedrooms and bathrooms. There is even a quiet mezzanine area for tucking yourself away with a book! Outside there is a large terrace with seating and beyond a big green space. There is real peace here accompanied by the sound of numerous birds in the trees. Lovely.
We walked to Bamburgh, drove round to Lindisfarne and another day to Alnwick gardens (their Treehouse Restaurant is top notch.) Beadnell is worth a visit plus their Craster Arms pub, and so is Craster itself with its smoke house and a stroll to Dunstanburgh castle as a treat.
And there's lots more places to explore next year!

I have been to Seahouses almost every year since 1991!
I have been to Seahouses almost every year since 1991! I have also been almost all round the British coast, and nowhere beats Northumberland. Seahouses has a perfect mix of scenery, wildlife, entertainment, shops and is very friendly and unpretentious. A great place in it's own right and a great base for the rest of the coast and county. Even after over 25 visits I'm not bored of it! So much to see, do and enjoy. A must-do is a boat trip to The Farnes - ideally with Serenity as these are the best trips with nice knowledgable staff.

Beautiful working harbour adorned with lobster pods, plenty of day trips to visit Farne island, fish or drive. Lots of independent shops which is nice to see but best of all a great choice of eateries for breakfast, lunch and evening with the quality first class. The fish& chips were so tasty and the Italian was so atmospheric with such flavoursome food also you can walk everywhere easily
The staff are very friendly, the room was comfortable and very clean plus the hotel is dog friendly. We slept really well. The food is excellent quality, we dined in their restaurant on the evening and our meal was delicious. We were well catered for at breakfast too. We had fruit to start and cereal then a cooked breakfast along with toast, fruit juice and a cuppa. Again excellent quality. We will definitely stay here again.
Perfect house with a large terrace plus lawned garden. There was a peaceful air about it, with a touch of luxury too. It was handy for the great Seahouses shops including an amazing pie/pasty/quiche shop. Walking along the nearby beaches was glorious; the short sea journey to the Farne Islands was magical, the local people were welcoming and the weather behaved itself! We've booked for next year, hurray!
Great location for ease of getting to amenities and visiting other areas. Fabulous view. Quiet. Very clean and well equipped. Reasonably priced. Spacious. Separate lounge, dining room and conservatory allowed for us to read/play a game without disturbing someone watching TV. Lovely walks from the house. Golfers can walk to Seahouses Golf course as it is right next door.
The location was superb for what we wanted. We could leave the car at the hotel, and walk the five minutes into Seahouses. Also great, as the following day, we were visiting Holy Island and Bamburgh.
Breakfast was lovely, and a gorgeous view of the Farne Islands from the breakfast room.
Our room was lovely and clean, and the staff were very friendly.
Dog friendly hotel with very helpful staff. Our room had a balcony with sea view and was a wonderful spot. Dog enjoyed it too as lots of lovely beaches nearby to run about on.
Lovely breakfast.
First time visiting this part the UK and we really enjoyed it, We were lucky with the weather too !
We could not have enjoyed our time at the Olde Ship Inn more! The staff was friendly, the room lovely, the location ideal. We enjoyed a drink at the iconic bar one night - a must - breakfast was jaw-droppingly delicious, and then we even grabbed Sunday Roast and just... wow!
Perfect New Year break. Hotel was spotlessly clean and warm and cozy. Staff were extremely friendly and couldn’t do enough for guests. Food was superb. Perfect location for Seahouses and the nearby areas to visit. Have booked again for return visit next year!
This hotel was just what I was looking for during my stay in the area. Lovely relaxing quiet setting although a short pleasant walk to Seahouses.
The staff at the hotel went out of there way and beyond there duties to help with my many questions and requests.
All the staff were so friendly and helpful, knowledgeable about the area and giving us advice for places to visit and eat.
They went above and beyond when we were leaving early hours of the morning and made our stay in Seahouses memorable.
Thank you!
The location was amazing! Just a few steps to the pub and the Town.the quietness of the cottage belied it’s position overlooking the harbour. Worth staying here for the views from the balcony and lounge area. Lovely bedding and towels.
The location is very central to Seahouses, very peaceful Barmburgh Castle pub as spectacular views of both the harbour and Sea The Olde Ship Inn is a typical old pub, full of fascinating artefacts
Both sell good beer and food
The location is excellent. It was the little things and touches that the owners make so special. They also go the extra mile when asked about places to visit and eat around the surrounding areas.
Lovely cosy and clean cottage. Wood burning stove was a lovely addition. Bathroom was very warm and spacious and lots of hot water. Short drive to great beaches and to village shop. Dog friendly.
The property was in Seahouses about 15 mins walk to the centre. It was a good base to see Alnwick and Bamburgh castles.
Clean and comfortable with well cooked breakfast.
The staff were all very friendly, the hotel has a great location, the rooms were very comfortable and the food and drinks on offer were all of good quality.
