The staff are very helpful and it was ideal for what I needed for my work, a clean comfortable bed plus clean shower and bathroom. There are plenty of local food outlets for a late meal plus Peterlee I’d just a few minutes away
Lovely with lots of history.
Amazing Sea glass to find on beach.
Why don't people know about the sea glass its so addictive and keeps the kiddies occupied for hours.
Great Indian restaurant on front.

We went to Seaham mainly for the beach.
We went to Seaham mainly for the beach. We also enjoyed looking around the town & marina. It was a good base for travelling to see local landmarks like angel of the North & Adrian's wall. We didn't find there was much to do in Seaham especially in bad weather. The locals all seemed very friendly. We found lot of local shops in the town were closed & had shutters down so not sure if that was permenant or seasonal as our visit was in October

Seaham beaches are renowned for its sea glass, and in that respect, it did not disappoint. There are lovely walks along the coast, the shopping centre is good. I did not eat out, so cannot comment. The bus service is very good, but the rail station is quite a walk from the centre.

Very clean. Good room. Good parking.
Very clean. Good room. Good parking. Poor menu options when running out of main courses. Ran out of two of the four main courses at 6pm. Told that chef had not prepared the pie and mash option despite being on menu.

Like everyone else, we went for the seaglass!
Like everyone else, we went for the seaglass! But the people of the area are great. Cheerful, helpful and talkative. We got chatting to others who were hunting glass, walking dogs, there for the view, and just really enjoyed meeting others. We were spoilt for choice on places to eat, and left with a lot more to visit - The Glass Centre 20 miles away has to be next.

Nice town with very friendly local people.
Nice town with very friendly local people. Good beaches and opportunities to swim in the sea. Beaches - sand and stones - were free of litter. Easy to park (free) near beaches. A town with a family vibe.
Lovely home from home, stylish duplex apartment. Perfect location in Seaham with beautiful sea views.
Located right in the heart of Seaham seafront. I was surprised by how quiet it was once inside. Even with some renovation works below we didn’t hear a thing. Friendly communications from the owner and a great bonus that there’s a discount on the breakfasts in The Lamp Room. We loved breakfast and dinner there. There is no designated parking, but we had no problem parking for free close by on a busy bank holiday weekend.
Friendly staff, good size room, nice selection of food for breakfast, free parking, free wifi and dog friendly. Asked for a low floor room with a walk in shower and was given the disabled room with a wet room. This included hand rail by the toilet and a seat in the shower, and rail on the actual bathroom I always take my own mat and handle but was really pleased with the hotel's facilities. Also during this mini heat wave I was pleased to see a fan in our room without even having to ask. Great service
The house was extremely clean and felt homely. We loved that it was located right at the seafront and right by local shops. We came to seaham to collect sea glass and this place was right in the centre of different beaches, that only took a minute or so to drive to. Seaham itself is beautiful.
The beds were very comfy, The double room has an ensuite and the single beds room doesn't, but the shower is only a few steps away.
We will most likely stay again.
If you want to visit the beaches at Seaham, this property is in exactly the right spot.
The owners had put a tremendous amount of effort into making our stay comfortable.
The owners provided a very good deal of breakfast options and an unexpected level of treats.
TV and lounge was outstanding.
Beds were extremely comfortable and the property had the feel of a real home.
Had a great 1st time stay in Seaham, so much history to the place and the people all so friendly wherever we went. Room was lovely and comfy bed. Although no breakfast at the accommodation plenty of places to get one especially the Lamp room tasty breakfast there. Wanted to go sea glass hunting and found loads on Seaham beach and Noses point beach.
We loved the decor and it was very cosy. Great location soooo quiet where the rental is. The house was clean and had everything you needed, plus the beds were really comfortable.
Parking was good, there's lots of places.
Easy walking distance to Seaham seafront with great eateries.
We would definitely stay here again.
Great location. it’s an unmanned hotel you get the code for the front door and your room sent the day before. The room was a reasonable size and very clean. The bed was comfortable. There was tea/coffee making facilities in the room, a tv and a fan. There was an en-suite with a shower.
Parking is on the road.
Great location for visiting our relatives in Seaham, very supportive host, great facilities and lovely touch with a welcome basket. Nice games room for when the weather is not so good. Very close to the beach, harbour and lovely cafes, bars, restaurants and gift/curiosity shops
Nice big bed, luxury feel to the carpets, powerful hot shower, lovely gels & soaps. Love the biscuits & cans of spring water. We had a problem with the TV, contacted Dave who turned up in about 5 mins & sorted it straight away. Location, location location, brilliant.
Beautiful house. Can not fault it. Will definitely be back. It was just perfect and Seaham is a lovely wee town. The Wii bought back many happy memories with the kids too.
Location was really good for amenities. Check in was easy via a keysafe, details were sent to me by email prior to collecting keys. Room was very clean and spacious.
Great location in Seaham in relation to the beaches
Some nice cafes and shops along the same street the flat was on
And not bad views from the apartment
