The attention to detail left me speechless. They have literally thought of every single thing you might need during your stay. There is an honesty jar to contribute towards what you have used. Clean, comfy, quiet, beautiful spot, great value for money and friendly welcome. We will 100% book again but for longer next time. Perfect! Highly recommend for something a little different.

Sandwich is a sleepy town, full of narrow streets and a picturesque river side. There is plenty to see, quaint shops and lovely pubs. We went out of season so it was quiet and easy to get around. Summer might be a bit different. We had lunch in The Sandwich Bakery Company, which is family run and welcoming and dinner at the Crispin Inn…great steak and lovely staff.

Sandwich is a beautiful town with a long history and a plethora of historic buildings, squares and narrow streets. You can also walk along the river and around the town walls.
There are a number of bars and individual restaurants--try the Toll House--smokehouse and grill and as a coffee and deli-the No-name Cafe.
Easy to spend a couple of days here and convenient location for exploring other towns such as Deal, Margate and Ramsgate.

A lovely little town, with lots of interesting history, streets, pubs & restaurants. Great walks & plenty to keep you interested. Local buses to Dover, Ramsgate etc. Not very frequent & didn´t run after about 18.00 hours but if you planned well, it worked. There is a train station as well but we didn´t use that.

We booked a walking tour of Sandwich with the local history society before we went and thoroughly enjoyed it. The museum is not big but has very interesting display cases. We had trips out to Richborough Roman fort and a boat trip to see seals - and they obliged.
There are several places in Sandwich for lunches and dinners. Ver interesting place to visit.

Booking.Com is rubbish and l will never use them again, l think l said that after the first time but will make a note for myself this time. We stayed in Sandwich for one reason we were going to a family event. Booking.com stated: Landmark River View, toiletries, ironing facilities,, iron, hairdryer, clothes rack, seating area, breakfast included. What we got was: No landmark view, only a view of the main road and wall opposite, no toiletries, no iron, no hairdryer, clothes rack consisted of a couple of hooks on the wall with three hangers, the seating area was one very old chair that sank at the back when sat on. Not only was the breakfast not included but there was no breakfast at all, we were told there is a cafe up the road. It was a 20 minute walk, l could not go as l told Booking.com l need a room close to the ground as l have breathing difficulties, My partner walked to this 'cafe' it was over expensive, for what was no more than a child's meal. It was very archaic, it was like walking into 1930's room, even the furniture was l930's and when you opened it it smelt musky. The Hotel said they had told Booking.Com many times that they did not do breakfast, but they kept sending people to include breakfast. It did not matter much to us as we were there to see family, however l think it would have ruined someones holiday it they were there for the area. Sandwich is very expensive, there is no parking, infact there is almost nothing there. Unfortunately, l am not able to download my photo's from my phone.
The staff were all very helpful and friendly, especially Katy who was epitomised customer service on our arrival. The room was lovely - spacious and airy; there was a great welcome basket; the bed linen was spotless with plenty of pillows; a fan/hairdryer/ironing board and iron were supplied in the room; the shower pressure was good, and the towels were fluffy. The hotel is right in the heart of Sandwich, perfectly placed and just a few minutes from all the interesting sights of the town.
This Bed & Breakfast was everything a bed & breakfast should be! A very cute and quirky historical home that has been renovated with new bathrooms and showers, the beds were nice and comfy, and the location was truly amazing right next to the gorgeous St. Peters Church. The town of Sandwich is a dream to visit -- what a treat! Marisol cooked up a full English breakfast for us each day with all the trimmings, which was super fun for us as American tourists.
The property is immaculately clean and basic provisions are provided such as; tea, coffee, sugar, milk and water.
We were met by the owner; Steve and was shown around.
Steve lives upstairs so is there if you need anything.
The property overlooks the boat yard and is in the centre of Sandwich which is ideal for exploring.
We only stayed for 1 night, but would definitely stay again
Jack was extremely helpful and easy to communicate with. He made us feel very welcome - a botlle of prosecco upon arrival, put up lovely Christmas decorations, explained how to operate the modern appliances and suggested different places to visit in Sandwich. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and highly recommend it to anyone. It was like a home away from home - warm and toasty.
This hotel was ideal for travelling around the south and east of Kent. The breakfast was a combination of cereals and cooked dishes, they also could prepare a vegetarian cooked breakfast which was welcome. The room was a twin, I had expected a double, but for one person this was never a problem. The staff that I met were all friendly.
I loved the historical feel of the place. It perfectly fits the theme of the town. And the location could not be better: On the quay, a couple minutes walk from the center, across the street from a great pub. And the food in the hotel was fantastic and not overpriced considering the atmosphere.
The hotel was overlooking the River Stour in the Medieval town of Sandwich. The Riverview Room was spacious and decorated with a pleasing colour scheme. The hotel has a spacious feel throughout and is well decorated and clean.
Location was ideal for sights and parking was straightforward. Staff were welcoming and friendly. I had two nice meals in the hotel that were decent value. The bed was comfortable. Quiet location with very little road noise.
This is a wonderful B and B with charming and very helpful hosts. They went out of their way to help me and I'd certainly like to stay with them again.
Sandwich is a lovely town too; very charming and atmospheric.
Large size rooms, which are perfect for relaxing after a long drive. The grounds surrounding the property are beautiful. The real feeling of an English house! Also the proximity to Sandwich is quite great.
Very friendly, kind host. The breakfast was the most nicely prepared I have had in the past.
The stable house we stayed was very cosy and atmospheric in the centre of Beautiful Sandwich.
Old fashioned charm. Traditional furniture in the hotel room. Good breakfast. The food in the restaurant is very good, it's popular with the locals so book a table at busy times.
A lovely cottage in wonderful countryside and close to the Sandwich Bay. Extremely friendly and professional owner and an adorable dogs!
We Would love to visit again.
