It's a clean hotel in a beautiful place. We were staying to go to the Minnack Theatre. There were lots of other guests doing the end-to-end on motorbikes but they were all super friendly and lovely people.
The breakfast was good. We had an evening meal which I found to be very limited choice. Basically posh curry, burger or fish and chips type. There were mussels on the specials menu but it was more like a starter without any extras like salad, veg, potatoes.
That said, I enjoyed my food. Good range of desserts but no cheese which I fancied with the lovely bottle of red we had.
The Union Hotel is in the centre of Penzance. A 5-minute walk from the sea, the 17th-century building houses Hamilton’s Restaurant and also Nelson’s Bar, where there is free WiFi.
Facing the beachfront, The Beach Club offers 4-star accommodation in Penzance and has a shared lounge, terrace and restaurant.

The staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. The view from our big bay window was panoramic. The evening meal was delicious, the chef is excellent. Lovely comfy bed, everywhere very clean. Plenty of power points. Staff dealt with all our luggage

WE ARE NOT A DOG/PET FRIENDLY INN. In the market town of Penzance, The Longboat Inn is right opposite Penzance Train Station and a 5-minute walk from the beach.
Set in a Georgian mansion, YHA Penzance features a traditional restaurant and leafy gardens. Penzance Seafront is a 15-minute walk away, and Newlyn Harbour is just 1.5 miles away.
The Kings Arms Inn offers bed and breakfast accommodation in one of West Cornwall’s most atmospheric pubs.

Nice rural location thats a close drive to the pretty coastline which hosts some amazing beaches and hiking trails to explore. St Buryan is also a short drive to Penzance which has large shops (Tesco & Sainsbury’s) to stock up on supplies. As it’s a remote village, you will need a vehicle to visit.
