Very comfortable room, no wardrobe but fine for a 3-night stay.
Convenient location, near bus stops for routes to Portsmouth, Southsea & Chichester. Handy for shops & library.
Wonderful breakfasts, 'hearty Irish' more than adequate.
Friendly and helpful staff.

A friendly pub with lovely rooms. We loved the atmosphere in the restaurant, excellent food, and very good options for gluten-free, which was so appreciated! Extensive wine list, quality cocktails and attentive service.

What a fantastic find - so idyllic peaceful and beautiful. Cannot fault it at all. The views are stunning, the place so comfortable, cozy and well kitted out, with a kitchenette, mood lighting, air conditioning and surround sound.

The Inn was centrally located and in a great position.
The Inn was centrally located and in a great position. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Sadly we were mistakenly not given the room we had booked and it was very small and hot. The bed was too short for my husband. The room was nicely decorated and clean. We were shown the right room the following day and it was lovely.
We will definitely return but now know which room to request.

Thoroughly recommended by me.
Thoroughly recommended by me.
I had a front facing (the green side),huge airy room with huge attached bathroom and very comfortable twin mattresses bed. The room had plenty of wardrobe space and a settee. I liked that it was accessed by secure door from outside, and residents have own key.It was excellent value for the money. Daily room service.Although not used by me, other than at breakfast, there is a large restaurant and bar, with outside seating. A comfortable and mostly quiet hotel with really friendly, capable staff. Only downside during my stay was nearby restaurant/bar which kept later hours, disturbing my evening tranquility. Ok for a weekend.

Rowlands Castle is a very attractive rural location with good public transport links to the main tourist areas within Portsmouth and Southsea. It's closeness to the Motorway network makes it easy to find and there are excellent facilities, including for dining, within the village.

The garden is gorgeous and obviously loved.
Rowlands Castle is a pretty village situated at the edge of South Downs and very close to stunning Chichester Harbour. Very cool location indeed!
A very warm welcome, so much nicer than the chain hotels. Our lovely host ensured we had everything we might need. The accommodation was very comfortable and we both had a great night's sleep. The off street parking was a bonus. There is a Harvester Restaurant a short walk down the road.
The location is beautiful. The hotel is lovely and really good value for money. Really enjoyed our stay.
