Friendly helpful staff, outstanding service. We ate breakfast and dinner and enjoyed a bar snack, all excellent.
The staff are very well trained and the atmosphere they create is everything you want from a top class hotel.
From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out, there was always a member of staff on hand to assist with all your needs.
The location was wonderful, sitting in the bar, overlooking the river was wonderful. Close enough for a short walk down the river to Richmond town and shops but far enough away to be quite and peaceful.

A comfortable up market restaurant with rooms which were well appointed with a number of thoughtful extras. Hot breakfast items were all freshly cooked and served promptly. The quality of the Rugby lunch we attended before England v Australia was excellent.

Richmond is a lovely town on the edge of London. Accessable by tube/underground and by train, it is an easy journey from London or Heathrow. The town is right by the Thames making for a lovely place to enjoy and pint or a meal at one of the numerous pubs and restaurants. You are moments away from green space either along the river or in the huge Richmond Park.

We chose Richmond Upon Thames because it was close to where our family lives. Richmond is a nice spot but expensive for dining out and very popular with the young heading out on the town - there were literally thousands standing drinking along the river front - no tables or chairs to sit at.
Overall, had it not been proximity to family we would not have chosen Richmond.

I'd want to live there if I moved to London!
I'd want to live there if I moved to London! There's a lovely long river walk (both banks) with restaurants on the Richmond side (I recommend the Gaucho and its patio). Also the very big Richmond Park, and I very much regret I did not have time to explore it. Unfortunately it's right under the approach path to Heathrow, so better get used to huge jets coming in overhead. Kew Gardens is in Richmond, and I spent a whole day there.

It was a good location for Hampton court which was easily accessed by bus.
The hotel was clean but we had to access our room across the carpark and on a couple of occasions the key did not work.
The room was comfortable but very small and the shower door was broken.
The food in the restaurant was not good at all and expensive, so much so we cancelled our meal for the second night and went to the pub down the road which had much better food.

Richmond is a beautiful town located along the Thames River. There is a beautiful walk way along the river, passing restaurants and pubs. The town is quaint with lovely shops and restuarants. There is a train station in the city centre making it very easy to connect to central London and Twickenham. It is a lovely city to walk through.

Richmond Park and Terrace Gardens.
Richmond Park and Terrace Gardens. Lovely river walk, plenty of places to eat and drink sitting by the river. Boats and able to get into London as well. Its a lovely place for old and young.Very busy at weekends, advise booking a table at restaurants, we went to The Ivy, listened to music on the river, where everyone was drinking sitting in the sun.Best leave your car at local hotels and walk in as its easier as roads do get busy.

The hotel is on a quiet street in an excellent neighborhood in southwest London. This is a modest establishment, but it is very charming and welcoming and is an unusual offering--a room in a bed and breakfast above a very nice old-fashioned London pub. The breakfast room was very cozy and the food was good and generous. The server was very nice and attentive. The room was clean with nice large window overlooking the quiet street. The room rate was very reasonable for what you get.
We had a delux queen room and this was lovely. My daughter and grand daughter stayed in a standard room, and for this type of hotel and for this price the room was very, very small.
There was a problem with the window in her initial room so she was moved and the second room was a little larger, but still very small.
Location is lovely, but if visiting London is part of your journey, the public transport links aren’t great.
Family visit to Richmond Upon Thames. The hotel is a quality hotel of a higher standard than say Premier Inn. The room was excellent with a small ipad type device to engage with the hotel including ordering breakfast etc. Very well located in Richmond.
