I asked for an accessible room, expecting a wet floor shower. I didn’t realise I had to ask if there was a wet floor shower and when we arrived it was a bath. We were going to a wedding so, I ended up not being able to shower and just to have a good wash down.

Lovely and relaxing. The spa facilities were great. The hotel was lovely the grounds were well kept. The breakfast was hot and plentiful. The food in the Fat Abbott next door was fabulous and reasonably priced.

The cottage was beautiful, homely, bright, and clean, with great private parking. The lounge was probably our favourite room, with it's cosy sofas and immitation log burner. There was a lovely pub nearby serving great food, and it was easy to get out to all our places of interest from this handy base. Anita and Tony were extremely helpful and sorted out any issues we brought to their attention. Excellent hosts and a lovely cottage. We'd definitely stay here again.
