Satis House Hotel, hotel in Rendham

Set in an 18th-century, grade II listed building, the Satis House Hotel has 3 acres of parklands and is located just off the A12. Free Wi-Fi and free on-site parking are available.

Breakfast was very good. Decor of main house was very good, a bit dark & gloomy though. Staffing issues. Owners seemed to lack interest. The lady that was possibly the main cook was very friendly but had a very scruffy appearance & smelt heavily of cigarettes. A beautiful property, but not run efficiently. Signage was very poor & the owner agreed that Sat Nav instructions were very unclear. The Hotel should give prior warning of this & give specific directions.

Colston Hall Farmhouse B&B, hotel in Rendham

Around 20 miles from Ipswich and Diss, Colston Hall Farmhouse B&B is just 10 minutes’ drive from Framlingham Castle.

Room very comfortable, clean and warm (much appreciated as the weather very damp at the time). Lovely breakfast and I particularly liked toasters on the table, so you could make your own toast and have it really warm. Tea provided excellent and strong! Owners were particularly welcoming and understanding when I had a late arrival due to traffic

Greenacres, hotel in Rendham

Located 13 km from Framlingham Castle, 26 km from Saint Botolph's Burgh and 29 km from Bungay Castle, Greenacres provides accommodation set in Kelsale.

This property was very clean, tidy and well equipped for our 2 night stay. It also had an outdoor courtyard with a table, chairs and a couple of sun loungers, ideal for sitting outside during a warm evening! There were also games, books and jigsaw puzzles for guests to use. I liked the mini toiletries left for us and the tea, coffee and biscuits. The wi-fi (important for our teenage daughters) was a good, strong signal. The owner met us upon arrival after we advised we were on our way and was very helpful in terms of directions and features of the property, including the wi-fi code. The property is very conveniently situated just off the A12, but we didn't hear the traffic noise at all (it's not an overly busy stretch of road anyway). Its location made a very good base to explore the Suffolk coastline and towns such as Aldeburgh and Southwold are a short car ride away. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Romantic Flint Cottage on the Suffolk Coast, hotel in Rendham

Located 23 km from Saint Botolph's Burgh, 32 km from Bungay Castle and 33 km from Eye Castle, Romantic Flint Cottage on the Suffolk Coast offers accommodation situated in Saxmundham.

Almost perfect location for us visiting family, however the engineering works on the railway line meant a longer than anticipated walk. Well appointed little property, with easy parking, good for a one-night short stay.

Housed in a historic building, Minsmere Cottage provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi in Yoxford, 16 km from Framlingham Castle.

This is a charming property full of character features, but also extremely well equipped with all mod cons. The bedrooms were huge and the beds extremely comfortable. It has 2 bathrooms and a comfy lounge complete with games plus loads of space for our family of 5. Exceptional value too!

Excellent place to stay with family and a dog! Would definitely recommend. In the future will bring a kettle and couple mugs with me. Thank you for keeping the place in such a great condition. The facilities were very clean and there was so much to do! :-)

Amazing place that has had a lot of funding pumped into it by Park Holidays and is a wonderful happy environment. Beautiful scenery including the amazing lake and the open air swimming pool, outdoor singing during the day, evening bands and bar and amusements not forgetting the crazy golf was fantastic - we loved our little camping pod and didn’t want to leave it or Rendham! Check out The Harbour Inn which is nearby food was incredible!

The brand new pods were spacious and spotless.

The brand new pods were spacious and spotless. Beds were made up on arrival as requested and comfy. Toilet blocks were clean and quiet. A clean portaloo is provided near the pods in the car park until permanent facilities are built (so I was told). Pool was quiet and had a nice seating area. National Trust properties near by, but it’s well worth a drive to Horsey Gap to see the seal colony! Plugs would have been useful in the toilet block for hair appliances.
