This place resembles an English bar in a good sense. It is very comfy, with very friendly staff. The room wasn't large but had everything needed. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast and the food in general were very good and tasty. The hotel is close to EGHP Popham.

Great food. Great beer. Friendly staff. Historical building. Rural location.
Located in Basingstoke, near Festival Place Shopping Centre, Basingstoke Town Centre and Avil Theatre, Village Hotel Basingstoke boasts a trendy bar and restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, a Starbucks,...
Wonderful for walks and pubs with good food. Although out in the sticks all the towns are just a stones throw away. The rolling hills of Hampshire are a joy to behold. It feels like you have stepped back in time to an era where cars and planes are still to be invented. The steam trains at Alresford are great too and the staff were more than helpful and willing to impart their knowledge. Even allowed me a sneaky peak at the signal box! With Winchester just 30 minutes away and Portsmouth an hour away there is always plenty to do and see.
