The hotel was perfect, the location was fantastic. Staff were super helpful. We were unable to check in until 3pm however they stored our luggage for us.
The reception staff were fab and left a balloon, card and chocs in the room for my daughter.

Not much, just proximity to wedding venue. Pangdean barn. 5 mins away.
I was just staying for one night as a stop over. The cottage is in a beautiful location, very quiet, and had gorgeous views from my bedroom window. My hosts were welcoming and showed me to a very pretty bedroom with en suite. There was enough tea /coffee provided in the room, a decent TV and furnished to suit the cottage. The walk - in shower was just brilliant, easy to use and loads of hot water. The facilities were immaculate.
The breakfast I had the following day was excellent - I'd ordered scrambled eggs on toast and they were cooked to perfection. There was a range of other foods to choose from and I was well set up for the day.
If I had occasion to stay in that area again, I would book this B&B without hesitation. It is a tiny hamlet, and the only facility in the immediate area is a pub over the road, which again does a good menu and was very welcoming. There are probably lovely walks in the vicinity, but I wasn't there long enough to explore further.

There was a book on the table about Poynings history, good read and useful for a historian or anyone interested in the past.
