I can't believe how great value Inn for all Seasons is. We travelled down for a wedding over May bank holiday and stayed for 4 nights, it was less than £100 a night, the bed was extremely comfortable and huge! Usually when you get to hotels you get flat pillows but it felt very homely with great quality duvet and pillows. The shower was a lovely walk in shower which was powerful. We had breakfast one morning which was ok, good value but I personally prefer exploring and having food out. Staff was friendly when we spoke with them but we didn't have any issues. I would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.
Along the north Cornwall coast, around 30 minutes’drive from Newquay and St Ives, Portreath Arms has a cosy bar and restaurant serving fresh home-cooked food.

Staff were friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful dinner and breakfast there. The room was clean and comfortable with added extras of good quality tea, coffee and biscuits. Location was great.

The room was huge. Bigger than a London one bedroom flat. The bed very comfortable. Also it was very quiet. Also being a Wetherspoon makes it very convenient for early and quick breakfast.
Situated just off the A30 in Camborne, the 3-star Tyacks Hotel is a charming 18th-century coaching inn in the centre of Cornwall’s mining heritage area. It offers home-cooked meals and friendly staff....

Fond memories of holidaying in Porthtowan throughout the 70s and 80s with our parents. It really hasn't changed that much and I'd highly recommend Porthtowan for the most wonderful holiday. Beautiful beach with a hidden rock pool, great for surfing and sunbathing. Great amenities with a great beach shop, ice cream parlour, cafe, beach bar, two pubs serving great food, chippy and village store. Also a great base for exploring local resorts too.

Beautiful beach with a few shops.
Beautiful beach with a few shops. Perfect for sunsets. 2 great bars with food and all the staff we had the pleasure of speaking with were so friendly.
Great parking at the beach.
Good roads to take you other places such as Falmouth and St. Ives. with incredible views if you take the smaller roads.
Restrictions on dogs on the beach meaning happy time for everyone!
Lovely cliff top walk across to Chapel Porth passing Great Wheal Charlotte en route with a nice cafe and lovely ice cream!
It could be said, that it's a steep walk back up to the holiday home depending on your health.

Childhood holiday memories of a wonderful place.
Childhood holiday memories of a wonderful place. Porthtowan did not disappoint 30 odd years later. We ate out twice at the Victory Inn, highly recommended. We drove to St Agnes and Perranporth and enjoyed reminiscing on Porthtowan beach.

The beaches at Porthtowan, Portreath and Gwithian were easy to get to and park. Good places to eat was the Victory Inn at Towan Cross, Bassett Arms at Portreath, and Trevaskis Farm, Connor Downs. Heartlands is worth a visit, great surf lessons at Gwithian surf academy.
