Really great value
Friendly and professional staff
Good food in the bar which had a nice friendly atmosphere. The paella had lots of sea food and was very tasty
Fantastic location
good continental breakfast with excellent quality ingredients (cooked breakfast is a little extra and the continental was good for us)
Comfy bed
Excellent wifi

Incredible location and my room had a view of the river (literally means Riverside! So many places are a little too economical with the truth, not this place!)
Note: you will likely hear water through the night - it becomes ‘white noise’ and helped me fall asleep.
The food was great too - first vegan and gluten free dessert I’ve tried on a local menu.

I loved how clean the chalet/lodge was. The location was peaceful. The gated decking area good for kids or the dog.

The lodge is very peaceful, comfortable and well located, if you have a car. We had such a great night's sleep. The king size bed was incredibly comfortable. Great value lodge in Cornwall. It was also very clean. The chocolates were a lovely welcome too.

The friendly hospitality was a very nice feature of the accommodation, as was the excellent breakfast. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and very clean. It would have been useful to have access to a small refrigerator.

We had amazing time.
We had amazing time. We felt very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The room had everything we needed and was cosy and comfortable. The surrounding views are stunning and the location was just what we needed for peace and quiet. We had a hearty breakfast and Cynthia and Brian are very lovely people, make you feel like you're part of the family, as if you've known them for years. We wouldn't hesitate to return, hopefully sooner rather than later!
