Nothing exceptional other than the receptionist who checked us in moved her car so we could park as my husband is a blue badge holder and the main car park is a short walk away.
The staff were obliging and extremely polite but stressed due to multi tasking!

Grovetown Barn was a fantastic find. Nestled in the countryside in Cornwall surrounded by fields, spring flowers and lambs. We were greeted warmly by Fiona and given informative information about the room and area. The room was inviting and well equipped, it was very comfortable and so clean. Lovely views from the room. We had breakfast of fresh fruit, pastries etc, very delicious and a good start to the day! Mum and I had a perfect stay here and recommend it. Thank you Fiona and Grovetown Barn!

North Petherwin is very rural which suited us but you do need to be prepared to drive if planning to eat out.
Beaches are within 30 minutes drive and Launceston the nearest town is 15 -20 minutes down the road.

A beautiful location and magnificent countryside.
A beautiful location and magnificent countryside. There seems to be a sad lack of pubs and restaurants in the area which might be something to do with the fact that the area has has historically been a staunch Methodist area. They don’t know what they’re missing!
