We were a family of 5 and booked the Piggery 1 bed cottage and The Stables 2 bed cottage, both dog friendly. The most beautiful cottages we have stayed in, renovated to a very high standard. Had everything we could possibly need. Warm and cosy and the most comfortable beds. Thank you Lauren for a fabulous stay, we will be back.

    Beautiful natural scenery.

Beautiful natural scenery. The area is definitely worth time to explore. We stopped over night on our way to scotland. The main A66 is a beautiful route but if you have the time I thoroughly recommend the scenic route through Barnard Castle, Alston, Slaggyford, to Carlisle rather than the main A66
