What a fabulous place to stay! We checked in at around 4pm and were advised that the hotel offers complimentary coffee and cake to all guests in the bar between 3pm & 5pm - obviously we took advantage of this and were not disappointed! Our room was a nice size, had a Nespresso coffee machine, a bath and a breathtaking view. We had a truly comfortable and cosy stay which was finished off very nicely with a delicious breakfast in the restaurant downstairs!

The townhouse is beautiful. Myself and my partner checked into our room and were greeted with music playing and an envelope with my name on it. The attention to detail is exceptional and we will be back in the new year. We had a meal in the restaurant and it was amazing quality, the mussels were the best!

Very friendly staff at the hotel, and very helpful.
The breakfast was amazing, and plenty of choice.
Location was ideal, and very close to pubs and restaurants. Exciting news that Arosfa will be serving evening meals soon.
Will definitely return soon as it was a relaxing break. Diolch yn fawr.
New Quay is a lovely small town in West Wales. The beaches are beautiful and are often visited by dolphins who are great to watch. It has a few shops, restaurants/cafes which are all worth a visit. It’s a little gem.

New Quay is a gorgeous visit - we treated ourselves to the 2 hour dolphin spotting boat trip and were rewarded with dolphins and seals as well as plenty of sea birds and a great tour.
Amazing ice cream from Crème Pen Cei - not cheap but worth every penny and I'd definitely go back for more.
Plenty of families on the beach - my 17yo and I enjoyed a walk along the harbour wall and mooch around the front - there was something there for everyone.
Provided you're relatively fit, there's parking at the top of the town - £4 for the day is a complete bargain!

New Quay has a very steep access to get into the bay, shops and harbour. Some shops can be a bit expensive also. Parking in the bay is a nightmare. Best to park at the top and walk down. But then there is a steep walk back up, so not good for older people. Parking fees can be expensive. A lovely bay, however, with quayside and lots of seating to watch the dolphin watch boats come in and small boats in harbour. Biat trips, etc. A sandy beech for the kids and all you want is the sun to shine.

New quay is a small harbour and bay with a sandy beach and gorgeous harbour wall. There are cheap trips to go Dolphin watching but they can bee seen from the beach as well.
Plenty of cafes, proper British seaside holiday in a little package

We visited in the winter but still found enough cafes open to be able to get coffees in the day, and an evening meal.
Loved the feel of the place.
Unfortunately I can’t say how it would be in the summer.

We went out of season for this trip as it was for business rather than pleasure. However, having visited New Quay on many occasions over the last 10 to 15 years, we would definitely recommend the Blue Bell Deli and Restaurant, The Penwig, and Crème Pen Cei (the best ice cream on the planet!!!). The main beach is lovely and safe in the summer, with plenty of options for dolphin watching, watersports, crabbing etc. The lifeboat station is worth a visit and the new RNLI shop too. There are a number of small shops selling some good quality products, as well as the usual cheaper seaside fare etc. When the weather is good it is a really lovely place to stay.

This was our second visit to Wild Winds and we find the accommodation very comfortable and homely. Our host is friendly and incredibly generous and we have a welcome hamper with cakes, chocs etc on the table for our arrival. We love the location as it is so easy to get to New Quay and Aberaeron and we can see the sea from our kitchen window. There is a lovely area to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine and plenty of room for parking. We thoroughly recommend Wild Winds and will be definitely staying again.
Breakfast was really good , lots of choice and actually brought to your room around 9am each morning.
The location is brilliant , right in front of the sea. Richard , our host was just so friendly and helpful as was his son Andy .
Having the terrace just outside was wonderful .
Best thing .......a boat trip on the Suncatcher with New Quay Boat Trips . We saw so many dolphins , it was amazing , they were so active .
There is plenty to do in New Quay, especially on a short stay, and plenty of new beaches to explore. Then of course New Quay is famous for it's resident dolphins, which are always a pleasure to witness in the wild. New Quay provides the opportunity for a traditional, family seaside holiday.
Excellent location in New Quay and for exploring Cardigan Bay. Property was spotless. Great for a family and a dog. We had a wonderful stay. Also loved the original features of the building.
The room was beautiful, light and loved the decor. The bed was very comfy. Loved the fact there was a little fridge provided too. The view from the window across New Quay was fantastic.
