I liked the location, just a minute from the sea which is fab! Before arriving my questions about a later checkout were answered promptly and I was able to stay in my room until 12 o'clock which really helped me. The room was very clean except for the curtain stains but that didn't affect my stay. There was a little garden area through my window so that was lovely too.

Very clean and modern hotel and public areas tastefully decorated - looks expensive!
All the staff I dealt with were extremely helpful and friendly.
Room was immaculate and very quiet.
Located just 6.8 miles from Newcastle city centre, this hotel boasts excellent facilities, including a restaurant, brasserie, lounge bar, and an 18-hole championship golf course.
The people were lovely and friendly. But, this is not and upmarket place to stay. It was full of drunks and druggies (even the taxi driver and the electrician said this) It was just like some of the worst council estates we have here in the UK. I didn't go out at night with the dog because of this.
There were quite a few pit bulls around, including the one upstairs. The property itself was ok and comfortable, but left a lot to be desired. The cutlery drawer was at ground level, there were slugs on the worktop every other morning and the fridge was awkward to open - you had to shut the kitchen door to get into it! But the owner was helpful and friendly.
