The owner was very helpful and friendly. She offered us coffee and pastries in the morning, though it wasn't included plus she generously gave us a lift to the start of our walk. She was a very fascinating person.

The property is 18th Century and very quirky. Situated next to a babbling brook, and away from the noise of traffic, it’s idyllic for a quiet retreat. Midhurst is only 1 mile away, and there are 2 great pubs less than 500m. The host, Miranda, is adorable and very welcoming. The breakfast was also delicious and plentiful. We will definitely be back for a stay.

We enjoyed walking around Cowdrey park and looking at the superb scenery. Midhurst is a nice place to see some quirky shops and some nice places to eat. Reason for visit was to see our daughter playing Felicity in "Relative Values", a light comedy by Noel Coward which was produced by Midhurst Players at the South Downs Centre Memorial Hall.

Great area for walking with several trails nearby and good network of well maintained paths. Lots of history to explore and good selection of independent shops. Bus links to Petersfield, Chichester and Worthing via Petworth. I enjoyed Verdi's cafe for coffee and sandwiches.

Midhurst is a bustling small town with all the amenities/...
Midhurst is a bustling small town with all the amenities/services you might need for a self catering stay but is also tranquil and attractive with lots of great walks in all directions. There's lots more in easy driving distance (and, mid August. the roads were very quiet) but Midhurst is a bus hub so with a bit of patience/planningyou can do quite a lot of exploring by public transport if you prefer. The planet will thank you :-)
The apartment was perfect for our family. It is very tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high standard. There was a bottle of wine on arrival and the flat was extremely tidy and very clean. The rooms were all very comfortable and well appointed including a large kitchen. The host Laura was always available to communicate via text and was extremely helpful and friendly. I thoroughly recommend The Loft Midhurst and we would happily stay here again.
Gorgeous apartment in Midhurst - my husband and I stayed with our 8 week old son as we were attending a wedding at nearby Cowdray (which is within easy 5-10min walking distance). The flat itself is stylish, spacious and very comfortable, much easier for a family and better value than a hotel. Bed was large and super comfortable, lovely shower and en-suite, compact and functional kitchen. Helpful communication from owner throughout and useful house book.
No doubt in normal times, the Angel Hotel provides an acceptable level of service and it is certainly well-situated on the main street of Midhurst., with handy off-street parking to the side. Room and facilities were all adequate so the only problem was their staffing crisis.
We enjoyed stopping by the Tourist Information Office the next morning where staff were extremely helpful and friendly, restoring our faith in the good folk of Midhurst.
I loved the location, the size of the room and facilities, lots of quiet dog walks literally from outside the door. The pub was very close to Midhurst and other very pretty villages so eating out was not a problem, just a shame that I would have occasionally eaten in the pub restaurant but it only served Thai food which I enjoy but not every day. Staff were very friendly and helpful I shall definitely stay there again if I'm in the area.
loft is bigger than the photos appear and was plenty of space for our family with young children. also provided space for an Easter egg hunt. the kitchen was fantastic and allowed us to easily home cook breakfasts and some dinners, the the nearby bakeries have more than enough to satisfy as well. the location was great and Midhurst is super cute. it is well placed to explore south downs. Laura was very responsive to any questions we had.
This was an awesome flat! It was beautifully decorated, very clean, and so warm and cozy. We used the fireplace (the wood was provided) and it felt just like home. The kitchen was well stocked for an aspiring cook, and the beds were very comfortable. The location is ideal for walking into Midhurst and the view of Cowdray ruins was lovely. This far exceeded our expectations. We had a fabulous stay.
Despite the car park being on the A272, the accommodation itself is usefully set back from that main road and is therefore pleasantly quiet. The room we stayed in (number 6) was clean and comfy. The staff were friendly and fun. The dinner menu was quirkily traditional (eg, potted shrimps, devilled lambs' kidneys etc) but everything was tasty and well cooked.
Set in a quiet location, the accommodation far exceeded our expectations. We sat outside for the entire afternoon, sipping drinks and watching the small number of comings and goings between pub terrace and the woods opposite. Menu is Thai; tasty and well presented. The venue had adjusted extremely well to Covid challenges.
Everything was amazing.
I would highly highly recommend this to apartment to anyone. Next time I will bring my family as the spare room looked way comfy for them.
Drank coffee on the back porch as I did some journaling.
Everything in walking distance.
All around a very peaceful area. Will stay here again definitely!
Needed somewhere to stay whilst visiting family locally and this was perfect. Communication via email beforehand was clear about how to gain access with simple instructions etc, and how to get breakfast the following morning. Property was in a fabulous location with views over polo lawns and down to the Midhurst ruins.
Very comfortable and visually appealing bedroom - we were given a free upgrade which was a very nice touch.
The hotel itself is very characterful and steeped in history (one of the reasons for our choice of hotel).
Food excellent (evening meal and breakfast).
All set in the beautiful market town of Midhurst.
Great location, everything clean and ready to go. Lovely and spacious apartment and easy to use system to get the keys. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in midhurst. Helpful leaflets about local events and takeaways left for us and the heating was left on for us on a very cold day!
Community run pub in a small village on the South Downs Way. Staff are lovely. The room was small but fine for me. There was a function in the bar/restaurant but the staff made sure guests of the hotel had a space in the bar to eat.
Nice cooked breakfast. would stay again!
The cottage is charming and in a wonderful setting. Very comfortable bed. Our dog had a wonderful time running through the fields. Great breakfast. Nice walk around Midhurst and the river when we left.
Loved this beautiful B&B! Our hosts were warm and welcoming. The room was spacious and comfortable! The view from the room was great! Breakfast was delicious! Highly recommend!
