Located about 6 miles north of Winchester in a quiet location. Satnav made it easy to find. Charles is a friendly guy very willing to make sure we had everything we needed. Our room on the ground floor was very comfortable and the bathroom well appointed. Breakfast was exactly what we asked for, very well cooked, served in the airy main guest area of the b&b. Beautiful lawns to the rear, very close easy parking to the front.

Our room was quiet, overlooking a lawn with views of a wood. It was adequately furnished, but not luxurious.
There was no noise transmission from other rooms or the corridor and no noise from the service area. Excellent !

I spent 2 nights in the Dove Inn and found it Excellent...
I spent 2 nights in the Dove Inn and found it Excellent Friendly Helpful Staff also really clean everything you need was there for you. I also found the Dove Inn had plenty of character and charm.
Michedever is a very quiet place with a Train Station with easy access
to Winchester and Basingstoke also London.

Four of us have just had a one night stay at the Annexe...
Four of us have just had a one night stay at the Annexe while visiting Winchester Xmas market and wish it had been for longer! Laura the host responded quickly to answer all my questions about this little gem of a place, set in beautiful surroundings and finished to a high spec. Clean and spacious accommodation with a fully equipped kitchen. Beautiful beds and bedding which were like falling asleep on a cloud after a busy day in Winchester. Do hope we can visit again soon.

We were there for a nearby wedding in Avington. The villages in that area have many thatched cottages and very English appearance which is charming. Close enough to excellent main roads for easy access but also so very quiet and rural when on the smaller roads. Lovely countryside of arable fields and hedgerows and tall deciduous trees.
There appears to be available local pubs in many villages which serve food but we did not have time to try any of them which was a pity!
Mulberry Barn is a beautiful charming period property eclipsed only by the warm welcome given by the hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they definitely went above and beyond.
The Barn is very close to Micheldever and not far from Winchester, It is set deep in the countryside. amidst beautiful rolling countryside, peppered with delightful villages where thatched roofs are the norm
Location and staff - My train journey from London to Southampton was interrupted at Micheldever station due to “adverse weather conditions”. With no trains or taxis in sight (or available on Uber or otherwise), I booked a room at the Dove. It was clean and comfortable, the staff were pleasant and helpful - and dealing very well with a sudden influx of people in the same situation.
Beautiful, secluded B&B at the end of farm lane in rural Hampshire. Situated at one end of Micheldever, which is a picture postcard English village. Excellent hosts. Winchester is nearby as are a large number of outstanding country pubs, chalk streams and lovely walks.
