A light and bright traditional property set in beautiful gardens. The bathroom was a good size with a great shower all of which was lovely and clean. The breakfast was made to order and we noted the effort to use local produce.

The property was very well equipped, extremely clean and warm. A lovely location in the pretty village of Eastwell. A welcome basket was a lovely touch even though we didn’t use much of it!

Great market and good pubs.
Great market and good pubs. Good choice of supermarkets within 5 minutes drive, Sainsbury’s being the largest. Although we came by car, the railway station is only 3 minutes walk from The Willows. Local people very friendly and it felt very safe to walk at night. We did a pork pie making class at Brockleby’s who have just won pie of the year award and it was great fun. They also do bread making classes. We enjoyed the antique fair on market day with some very friendly stall holders. We will return to this lovely town. We enjoyed the Anne of Cleves pub . The food was delicious and there is a huge garden at the rear. You need to book !

We stayed at Tresillian House B&B for 2 nights - 16th/17th September (family wedding). Alison is the perfect host, she welcomed us in to her beautiful home and we felt as if we were part of her family. The whole house is immaculately clean. Our room was very spacious and there was a wide variety of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits plus a mini fridge. The bed was very comfortable with pure white cotton linen and the pillows made for a great night's sleep. We had access to the lounge which is very cosy and welcoming and the garden is absolutely stunning. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of choice including pastries, cereal, bread, jam and real butter. All the food is locally sourced and freshly cooked to perfection. Alison, we can't thank you enough for making our stay any more perfect. You are so lovely, kind, very welcoming and very hard working. We're looking forward to booking another weekend stay with you in the very near future.

I liked the market town character & facilities.
I liked the market town character & facilities. I also liked the range of restaurants & bars, some good shops here, was able to find a suit for a funeral, fresh fruit in the market, nice beer garden in The Anne of Cleves, lovely little pub called 'The Boat', Caffe Italia is a nice bistro, nice little independent coffee places like 'Off the Beaten Path'. Everywhere is easily reachable by foot without the need for transport. It has a huge LIDL & Morrisons. There's a range of banks, even a theatre!

The property was 2 min walk over a river to a beautiful park and into a beautiful old English felling town with a few pubs and shops, a small drive to fishing lakes and country side, we definitely coming back to explore more a weekend was not enough time to do all we wanted to do.
We stayed one night at this hotel. The location was idyllic with excellent views of surrounding countryside. Good full English breakfast enjoyed with a vegetarian option for myself. The member of staff that checked us in and looked after us was very helpful, particularly as there were still Covid restrictions in place. Great place to stay as this hotel/house has a very interesting history.
The location was great and it was convenient to know that if the weather wasnt cooperative, we could just go downstairs for a drink or a meal. Additionally, the room was modern with sets of plugs and USB ports on either side. Additionally, the bathroom was also nicely done out as well. Parking was a bit tricky but we managed to make it work (i.e. spaces were limited and somewhat awkward).
Spacious room with very good facilities, delicious food (evening and breakfast), super friendly and helpful staff, decor was of a good standard and homely with plenty of spaces to sit within the hotel space, hotel smelt fresh and was clean, plenty of car parking space, building felt secure and safe, views from restaurant and gardens were amazing, nice town nearby within walking distance.
What a beautiful quaint hotel steeped in history. Superb grounds, excellent service and food was amazing, apparently the reviews my partner read weren't good but what we had, plus service was exceptional.
Room was big and comfy, too be fair I've had similar and paid less but when you take into account the service that accompanies your stay it's worth it!
Excellent pub accommodation in villiage close to Melton Mowbray. Mark and his staff made our stay a real pleasure.
We had an evening meal which was very good and satisfied our substantial appetite.
Mark was up early to accommodate an early start request and cooked a superb breakfast to set us up for the day. Great value and very hospitable, Thank you.
Stayed here 4 - 5 now and just love everything about the hotel. The staff are so helpful and friendly, especially Si. The rooms are warm and clean. The bed is comfortable, and there is an iron and ironing board in the room.
The hotel is near the train station and is close enough to the town centre.
I highly recommend trying the Indian restaurant.
Good parking and quiet location. Pleasant and efficient reception on arrival. Lovely room overlooking the garden - very comfortable bed and equally comfortable armchairs - with spacious bathroom - heated towel rail :) excellent towels. Dinner and breakfast both good as was service. Ambiance overall is one of comfort.
It definitely felt more like a home than a hotel or B&B. The grounds are beautiful and you could get lost in them, in a good way. The "Lady of the Manor" was very lovely to speak with and made the stay unforgettable. We will definitely stay again in the future.
Modern, comfortable, spacious house in a very small, quiet village with good facilities. Convenient for our stay for wedding stay and commute. A good family home with excellent parking and garden space. Easy access to nearby places like Rutland Waters.
Hidden gem close to Melton Mowbray, the hut is immaculate and has everything you need. The owners are very welcoming and the location is beautiful.
We have stayed in church house hut twice and will definitely return!
Easy check-in and parking immediately in front of the property. Quiet location in small village, but only a short drive into Melton Mowbray for places to eat. Good place to stay overnight if working in the area.
Good location. Friendly staff and decent pub food. We didn't try the Indian Restaurant (attached to the pub); we had an evening meal in the bar, which was good value for the money. This is a good basic hotel.
If you want a quintessential English country house hotel then this is it. Beautiful historical building and grounds that haven't been overly messed around with to make a hotel. Restaurant food was very good.
Everything. It was spacious, beautifully decorated, modern and a wonderful respite from the cramped quarters of NYC where I live. Loved the old barn beams and the countryside. Will be back again. For sure.
Good location in the countryside with amazing views and 10 minutes by taxi into town.
Host very friendly and helpful.
Room and bedding all kept very clean and comfortable.
Very good value.
Loved my weekend retreat enjoying the countryside around Melton Mowbray and the town itself. Several beautiful churches at Wyfordby and Stapleford well worth a visit!
