No obvious towel facility for hotel(although next day staff said it was ok to borrow a towel)

The staff in both Hotel and pub are very helpful. We have stayed before and still maintain it is the staff that make the place good.

The lodge was old, dirty, freezing cold and in desperate need of renovating. The heater smelt when we tried to turn it on, I would definitely say this was a fire hazard.
Outside the lodge was files of rubbish, old bathroom suits, mattresses, skips etc
