Driving along the Golden Road was an experience, and not for the faint-hearted. Watch out for sheep and blind turns and humps. Beautiful on a fine day, but a little bit grim on a grey day. Loved the permanent fixture of several seals; saw a cuckoo every day; surrounded by wheatears, sandpipers, shelducks and grey herons.
