Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was tastefully decorated and I loved the painting in the room! The only thing missing from the room was a bath, but the shower cubicle was spacious. Overall excellent

The Lilley pad was fully equipped with everything we could need. The location was quiet even though it is very central. The bed was very comfortable and the parking permit was a real bonus.

I really liked the castle. The market was brilliant and so were the independent shops especially the Mousetrap cheese shop. Though I didn't think much of the One stop shop with the Post office . The service was really slow in the end I just couldn't wait to be served. It's a shame that the museum isn't open during the early part of the week.

Ludlow was recommended to us by friends and we weren't disappointed very interesting architecture, black and white buildings, castle ,market, lots of individual shops, bars and eateries all within easy walking distance. Also ideally placed for travelling north or south. Highly recommend Hereford cathedral, with Mappa mundi and the chain library.

Lots to see in Ludlow, but my favourite was a circular walk out to the village of Bromfield, along an old bridleway....but unless you have walking boots, avoid the field sections of the walk.

Look low has a distinctive charm all of its ownWencountered friendly local people Time After Time who could not do enough to help us. There is no end of fantastic pubs and places to eat all set in a historic town centre which allows you to leave the 21st century behind for a little while The castle was magical and extremely well organised though not to manicure we particularly like the walk down to the river where we had a wonderful breakfast overlooking the weir

Ludlow is a fantastic medeval market town.
Ludlow is a fantastic medeval market town. The castle, eventhough it's a ruin, is well woth the visit. So is the church, with fantastic historic carvings. The whole town feels like being back in medeval times. It's a relatively small place, a stay of two days is plenty to see all the sights.

Excellent location for exploring the area further a field. People should be aware that it is a built on a hill , and location of stay is important.

Location was perfect has we stayed there for the horse racing unfortunately it got called off.But we went into Ludlow itself and it was very nice the bus stop is outside the hotel so was perfect an cost £2 and a 5/10 minute journey we will b going back at some point this year the room was really nice couldn’t have asked for better.
There was nowhere to access footpaths or walks. As the hotel was two miles out of Ludlow this was a disappointment. Not great if you had a dog. The Spa we did not try. I had hoped for a gym and/or a pool.
