The quality of fitments in the room were excellet. Best shower, for pressure, I have ever had in a hotel. Our only interaction with the staff was when we booked in and had lunch. They were very friendly and helpful and the lunch ( a Thursday and Friday meal deal) was good quality, well priced and met our needs at the time.

Just far away enough from the usual tourist centres of Stow and Bourton on the Water. Very pretty but still quiet country village. There are some good walks in the area and Upper slaughter is a don't miss place to see.

Just off the beaten track, in the idyllic setting of a Cotswold Hamlet. The restaurant was peaceful and elegant the food and the service were of a very high standard, dinner and breakfast superb. A very popular spot for Ramblers enjoying the countryside.

Beautiful hotel & grounds in idyllic village.

Beautiful hotel & grounds in idyllic village. Sadly the catering did not live up to expectation due to the quality, portion size & cost. Very disappointing meal. Had hoped to bring my family there for my 80th birthday celebration. Will not recommend dining here but a lovely place to stay.

Lovely place to stay, superb area placed as it is beside the river eye and surrounded by well manicured gardens. The hotel itself is clean, ordered and inviting. Reception staff welcoming , efficient & friendly. Staff on hand to help with luggage. We were pleasantly surprised we had been upgraded and delighted to be shown to a large, modern and nicely decorated ( & and spotlessly clean)room . Godolphin is one of the hotels superior rooms, situated in a quiet spot on the first floor of the hotel. Breakfast ( included in our reservation) was freshly prepared and individually cooked to order, as were all other meals that we enjoyed at the venue. Without exception all of the staff were professional but warm and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. All in all a great place to stay, dine in and enjoy.

The location is really lovely, and feels hidden away. When we checked in we were greeted by a friendly receptionist, she took the time to show us to our room. Our room was separate to the main hotel, it was spacious, with an extra sitting room, and a bathroom with a roll top bath and shower. Everything was clean and comfortable. We ate in the restaurant for dinner, and the selection and service was great.

Location was great. Dinner on Friday night was excellent and all the staff looked after us very well. Breakfast was nice, especially the sourdough toast and croissants but but I don't think the veggie sausage agreed with me as I had a bit of a reaction to it. OK by lunch time though. The gardens are lovely and we had a beautiful walk from the hotel. We would have enjoyed staying longer.

The location is fantastic and the hotel has the old world charm. We loved the serenity of the place nestled in a very pretty village. The rooms are nice and comfortable and the service is excellent. The staff had an amazing attitude towards the guests and served with a smile, which was a very refreshing change. The food was excellent.

It’s really frustrating having 2 hotels with similar names almost opposite each other. We had thought we had booked for the manor! the hotel was more travel lodge than country inn. No original features. room was a bit dusty. Mattress very very soft. staff all very attentive and friendly. it’s ok but not what I was expecting.
