Breakfast was OK.

Friendly staff. Easy parking. WiFi and hot water fine. Heater put on in the room ahead of check-in. Good value as it is a rambling old hotel so prices are adjusted accordingly.

Made a room available for us with very little notice.
Very welcoming and an excellent breakfast thrown in for good measure.
Nice quiet village. We stayed at the camelot caravan park and decided on longtown as its in easy reach for various day trips. The Greyson arms pub is very welcoming and friendly and accept dogs (with free treats for our dog as soon as we arrived) food was delicious here too. The esk chippy and spice fusion was good but the classic pizza shop wasn't that great (chips were undercooked, garlic bread was like cardboard). Overall, longtown has everything you need for a few days stay including a spar and petrol station but we used the area as a base to explore Hadrians wall, west coast of Scotland (Gretna, powfoot) and Carlisle.

It's a quiet little town just off the motorway in a perfect location for a break in your journey. The town has pharmacies and a few small shops, a couple of bars and a hotel. It's a typical border town, money is tight so not too many frills!!

We stay at Longtown because it is a convenient point on our long journey to stop, a very short detour from the M6 / M74. We particularly like the walk along the river, and our dog likes it even more,! Every time we stay we meet friendly local people who are pleased to speak with you.
Longtown's centrality to surrounding areas. We travelled around for this week and it was nice to get back to what was our home for the week. The accommodation was secured by a gate and keys. Very quiet area. It is obvious that the owner invested some time and money to make this accommodation so lovely as it is. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants a place to stay whilst sightseeing.
Located in the centre of Longtown which appears to be the focal point for locals. Property was able to provide a room with bath which my wife appreciated. Room was clean and appeared to have new carpets. Small parking area was available on the property. Food menu looked reasonable although we didn't take up on this. Although above the pub on second floor the room was very quiet.
The hotel looks unassuming but the room was large and the 4 poster bed luxurious. The ensuite bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was good. No evening meals but the hotel along the road was perfectly adequate.
Very clean ,comfortable, well equipped apartment .Spacious rooms located next to all the amenities in Longtown .Well informed by hosts how to check in etc .Would definatly recommend 👌
Staff were really cheerful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Food was really good. Chicken breast with haggis was gorgeous. Would book there again.
It is a very small village, but had lots of little shops and a lovely Dog friendly pub and it has No restricted parking in Longtown which is great and it is free. What a Bonus.
Nice and convenient in the middle of Longtown, though on-street parking could be an issue. The facilities are good and nice to be able to stroll downstairs for a pint or two.
Really nice accommodation much better than stay in hotels very quiet location will definitely be using again in fact I am even thinking about getting my own home when retire
