The location is great, the staff were friendly, the lobby and the bar are nice, the continental breakfast is good value for money and the second room I stayed in (6th floor) was recently renovated and is quite comfortable, although it was considerably small.

St Giles London – A St Giles Hotel, hotel in London

Located in London’s West End, less than 5 minutes’ walk from Tottenham Court Underground Station and Oxford Street shops is the St Giles.

This was a late booking as the original Hotel booked through you, The Gower Hotel was cancelled as they could no longer accommodate us a party of 4 friends and it was the St Giles which is 3 Star equivalent. We chose this one for the location to the Dominion theatre as we were celebrating 2 70th Birthdays to see The Devil Wears Prada.

Go to London alot and just walk as we see so much and love the atmosphere, however, avoid main areas at this time of year unless you like lots of people! I booked to do Tower Bridge this time and would highly recommend as very interesting and fun to walk over the 'glass' floors - also walk up the stairs instead of taking the lift :-) We walked from Tower Bridge along the Southbank to Central London Trafalgar Square great, Covent Garden SO busy. Walked back to St James Park by Buckingham Palace, beautiful walk through here but 8 miles later my feet had had enough! LOVE London

The trip was a quick 3 night 2 day hit or miss trip. Tower of London was great, crown jewels were, sadly, sort of boring. Westminister Abby and St. Paul's were great. St. Paul's tour guide was excellent. we ate two meals at the "Mad Hatter" hotel and Restaurant. Breakfast there is a not some thing I would recommend

Been a few years since last visited London.

Been a few years since last visited London. Both husband and I agreed that London looked very welcoming. The buildings are well maintained and of course many of them are stunning. Everywhere was clean, hardly any litter or graffiti glad to say - completely different story in recent trip to Naples! Visited Kensington, Covent Garden and the Natural History Museum. Never felt unsafe; surrounded by generally convivial atmosphere of others enjoying their visit there.

We had a great time at Wilson House. The housemaid who greeted us was so lovely. We felt welcome from the very beginning. I was a bit skeptical at first because it's the first time I stayed in a a hostel hotel but I was definitely wrong. The apartments are cleaned daily and all of the facilities were super clean and well maintained. For the £70 I paid, I think I got an absolute bargain. I don't think you can find better in London at this price point.

We stayed in the residences element of the hotel and what a welcomed surprise for central London. The apartments were well furnished, spotlessly clean, spacious and having access by both the hotel and externally via a private door was excellent. The doorman (Danny I seem to recall - London guy) is a great asset and ambassador for the hotel and far excelled in his customer focused service - chatty, informative and keen to please.
