We liked the room it was comfy for a night stay
clean and functional
The restuarant in the evening was hit and miss
Food was ok but service seemed to have no direction
We sat and waited to have our order and then the waiter came over to 2 groups of people who had only just come in and took there order before us
The young waiter was pleasant enough but didn't seem to have much motivation
And the young lady was the same
Breakfast was better and food was better than I thought it was going to be
And the manager was friendly and seemed to have it under control
So a mixed bag of experience

Room was excellent.. we was given a free upgrade .. very spacious... the bar area spotlessly clean reasonably price and very comfortable .. staff very polite and chatty
Very small village, no shop. But very quant. People in village friendly. There is a Morrison's in Aberystwyth and small shops out and about when you are visiting other areas nearby. Pub, Black Lion just down the road by car, exceptional food would highly recommend a meal. Plenty of red kites flying around the property and the squirrel came to say hello 😊.

Be prepared for a narrow single track road to get to the cottage, but this little lane was very quiet. The property was great, there are some stairs inside, so may not be recommended for people who cannot manage stairs, although it is easy to leave the upstairs by the door into the garden, walk downhill along the lane a little & re-enter via the front door.
