My partner and myself loved everything about it. Sean and Gemma were wonderful so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. They are a credit to the hotel.
The evening meal was superb and the breakfast was just as nice with plenty of choice.
Our room was luxurious, comfortable and clean. We honestly couldn't fault anything about our stay, we found a little gem and would definitely return, also recommend to anyone who is planning on visiting the Cotswolds to stay here. Bampton is a pretty place and an ideal touring base.
Thank you to the Fleur de lys and especially to Sean and Gemma for making our stay a special one.

The village nearest our B&B was small, but had places to eat, and some street life. We like to see local people going about their day, so that we don't feel that as tourists we have dominated and changed the place.

There is nice 30 minute walk possible around the village of Kelmscott close to the Thames. There is the Beautiful William Morris Kelmscott Manor. And William Morris was burried in the grounds of the parish church.

The Plough Inn is not actually in Little Farringdon but in nearby Kelmscott, so we were a bit confused to begin with. However, we did drive through Little Farringdon on the way and it's very pretty, as are all the surrounding villages.
