Super friendly staff above a great bar full of locals playing cards and having a great time. Check in was really easy and it was nice to be able to pay at the hotel as opposed to online for a change. The staff did a great job with leaving me breakfast out as I had to leave before breakfast was served (breakfast starts at 9 o'clock, so if you need to leave early remember to ask).
Overlooking the market town of Penrith, the Victorian Bank House has a beautiful garden and provides Fairtrade tea and coffee and handmade toiletries in each room.
