This establishment was located in a beautiful setting with historical charm that evokes beauty. The spa facilities were great..staff helpful and the quality of the food amazing..! However some parts of the hotel needed some upgrades, carpet where my room was allocated was grim..tripped up a few times on a raised slope which I did not see coming, no bath which I personally look forward to..☹️. The silk flowers throughout the reception area and dining room etc..did add some colour and vibe, but in all felt there was room for improvement. Shall return again one day in hope's these little hiccups are addressed.Breakfast bang on..🥰 xx

Bedrooms well isolated from main building. I usually avoid hotels which major on weddings etc but this was fine.
Food well above average. Good quality steak (a bit too well done for my preference, must emphasise RARE RARE RARE next time) and fresh vegetables. Very house Rioja too.

The Breakfast was the best i have ever had in any hotel in the UK. Evening Meal was superb All the staff without exception were welcoming, we felt at home as soon as we arrived. To top it off i saw an Otter in the river behind the Church.
