The caravan was exceptionally well kept and clean. The host has equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay.. the host was also on hand for any issues. We had a challenge with the WiFi but was sorted out. The location is beautiful with lovely river walk and site cafe. It was also very quiet during our stay. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Some very interesting places to visit. Good cafes and restaurants. Superb Indian restaurant on High Street well recommended. You do need to be active to enjoy the walks as main attractions are up in town or down by river, steep walk.

Very picturesque town.
Very picturesque town. Noticed it was very dog friendly everywhere which was lovely to see so many owners enjoying being out and about with their pet - next time I’ll take mine. Beautiful walks along the river Nidd. Lots of lovely dog friendly cafes. Everyone was very friendly and as I was travelling alone that was a plus!

Lovely stay, Knaresborough is fabulous, great shops and restaurants. Handy for visiting Harrogate annd Wetherby too .. The bus service was very hit and miss tho, I think due to roadworks? .
We went to the bus stop near the Lido caravan park at 9.25am to get the 9.37am, no 1A bus to Harrogate, it didn’t arrive. So we caught the next one which arrived a little later at 10.15am… a local lady said they been like it a while now and advised us what to do to get back… on returning in the afternoon there was no sign of a 1A at Harrogate so we asked the driver of a 1B if it would get us anywhere near, and it did, we just got off near the bridge and walked the rest of the way. Didn’t bother us but as the local lady said it is affecting people who have hospital appointments at Harrogate.

The staff were very welcoming and responsive at all times. We had booked a double bed room but realized it was not ideal and the staff was flexible enough to find us a twin bed room instead. The parking is fine as long as you don't get back too late. Walking distance from the hotel are many dining options. It helps that Knaresborough itself is a pretty town and when it's sunny there is a beautiful garden at the hotel with tables where you can enjoy a drink in the sun.
Very convenient spot near Knaresborough. Lots of free parking. Food at the Bay Horse is unbelievably good. We weren’t expecting it to be so amazing.
Breakfast is a very short woodland walk to the Goldsborough Hotel, the sister property. Wonderful breakfast in sumptuous surroundings, we felt extremely lucky and spoilt!!
Very close to the town centre , lovely roomy Holiday let , clean and in a great location, a small shopping area just across road, blankets if you get cold , lots of games , baking trays etc for cooking everything you could need
Lovely studio, everything you need, very comfortable bed, great location for the town centre. Absolutely loved it and have already re-booked for our next visit to Knaresborough.
