Our goal was to climb a Scottish Mountain in winter conditions, the Wee Stay is a perfect Base Camp to access the Highlands.
We can’t recommend the property high enough and the care from the owners is first class!!!!?

There is not much to do in Kinross.
There is not much to do in Kinross. We went to the lake and wanted to visit the castle but it was closed due to a private event.
Some shops are closed or are closing in the town.
The small jetty looks abandoned and run down. It might have been nice to walk or cycle around the loch. However, for us 1 day was sufficient time.
We really liked the small cafe Reminisce. Lovely team.

It's a small town but it has everything.
It's a small town but it has everything. Loch Leven is a gem and the surrounding countryside very beautiful. The drives to Perth and Scone Palace as well as to Stirling are gorgeous. It's within half and hour of Edinborough and 45 minutes of Glasgow.
We ate at our hotel, the Kirklands which has a great restaurant so can't say anything about the other places.

The hotel owner told me it would be too late to come, so she said she will cancel my booking.
But when I go on the website, I was not allowed to cancel or get any refund!!!
Horrible and unfair!
I would want other people to see this and never book with this hotel!
This Hotel is a Gem, so welcoming, the staff can’t do enough for you. We had coffee and cake while waiting for our room, which was earlier than we expected.
The restaurant, we can highly recommend, the food was amazing, so fresh and extremely tasty, and the waiters very attentive, service with a smile and quite genuine.
Well done to all the staff, we said that we would do the 800 mile round trips just to have the experience of the Hotel/ Excellent Food, and of course Kinross and surrounding areas, lots to do!
Great location in the centre of Kinross, great food and exceptional quality of service throughout. A warm and friendly atmosphere created by the hostess and her team coupled with highly efficient use of technology means it deserves a very high satisfaction rating. All the important requirements of a hotel stay had been carefully thought out. Will have no hesitation in staying at the Kirklands on any future visit to the area.
Location is great for working/visiting Knockhill race track. Breakfast at the hotel was amazing. We arrived late after the restaraunt had stopped serving so we went to the local chippy and the staff at the hotel were fantastic, giving us some plates and a table in the now empty restaraunt for us to eat our food. Also in the room the TV was Freesat, nice to watch a decent sized screen in HD after a long day of work.
Wow...luxury 5 star apartment in the heart of tranquil Kinross. Exquisite furnishings and highest quality finishings throughout the property. Bedrooms in particular were quite stunning worthy of any top end boutique hotel.
The welcome pack and communication also first class. We will definitely return to the wonderful Kinross Reaidence in the future.
The food (dinner and breakfast) was stunning I asked for a variation from the menu. The chef was creative and the taste was outstanding. Breakfast was better than the five star hotel we'd stayed at the week before, both in flavor and presentation
Spacious self-contained apartment with a very nice welcome hamper from welcoming hosts.
Perfectly located for exploring Clackmannanshire as well as Kinross and Perth. Quiet, yet within easy reach of the motorway.
Lovely spacious room. The staff were really friendly and efficient and the food was really good. We ate in both nights and really impressed. The pork belly was amazing! Nice ambience and comfy bar area to relax.
Room to move! Far better equipped and spacious than B&Bs. Bright and comfortable. An ideal base from which to explore the area, including cycling and walking. Responsive hosts.
Beautiful location overlooking the Loch. Plenty of trails close by for hiking and running. The cabin was spacious, clean and well stocked! We highly recommend it for families!
Nice scent on entry. Clean. Bed comfortable. Great smart TV with loads of streaming channels. Like staying in a lovely hotel but more spacious, privacy and good facilities.
Clean well equipped property. Host was very helpful and informative. More spacious then we expected. We were visiting family in the area & will definitely use again
Set up was great, microwave and facilities were an added bonus. Situated in an ideal area with easy access to tourist and everyday facilities, excellent 👍
