Our goal was to climb a Scottish Mountain in winter conditions, the Wee Stay is a perfect Base Camp to access the Highlands.
We can’t recommend the property high enough and the care from the owners is first class!!!!?

There is not much to do in Kinross.
There is not much to do in Kinross. We went to the lake and wanted to visit the castle but it was closed due to a private event.
Some shops are closed or are closing in the town.
The small jetty looks abandoned and run down. It might have been nice to walk or cycle around the loch. However, for us 1 day was sufficient time.
We really liked the small cafe Reminisce. Lovely team.

It's a small town but it has everything.
It's a small town but it has everything. Loch Leven is a gem and the surrounding countryside very beautiful. The drives to Perth and Scone Palace as well as to Stirling are gorgeous. It's within half and hour of Edinborough and 45 minutes of Glasgow.
We ate at our hotel, the Kirklands which has a great restaurant so can't say anything about the other places.

As this was my first trip alone to Scotland for a family wedding I liked the security at the property and knowing I could contact Gerry if I needed to. The location was central in Kinross so good access to local amenities and buses. Gerry provided very useful information prior to and during my stay and was a kind, hospitable host. The accommodation was very comfortable and homely and I felt very welcome.
Wow...luxury 5 star apartment in the heart of tranquil Kinross. Exquisite furnishings and highest quality finishings throughout the property. Bedrooms in particular were quite stunning worthy of any top end boutique hotel.
The welcome pack and communication also first class. We will definitely return to the wonderful Kinross Reaidence in the future.
Seemless Check in, excellent communication, spotless room. Absolutely fantastic!
The bed was divine (what is that matress?? It was so comfortable), spacious, well stocked and set like a hotel room!
The communication gave us everything we needed to know and more. Although, a possible glitch meant we received the same information a few times...
Well located and well sized room. Large bed and bathroom with bath and shower. Proper check-in procedure and a paper invoice on leaving. Reception experience was engaging and positive. The property is located next to the Kinross golf course and Loch Leven, I had a lovely walk around both on a pleasant, sunny evening.
Really good location if meeting friends in Kinross and no way back to your home location. Easy to access with your own back door to the property. Very similar to a hotel room with tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge. Baynes bakers just a walk away and open early.
Lovely dining room and a great menu.
having the venue “backstage at the Green Hotel” within the hotel was perfect, we were going to a concert there. Everything all at close proximity, and opposite the hotel was Loch Leven brewery which was a real bonus.
Lovely room, very clean. nice space. Hosts Shrona and Anthony were gracious, helpful and charming. Special shout out to Emma for her helpful attitude and service. Look forward to our return
Room to move! Far better equipped and spacious than B&Bs. Bright and comfortable. An ideal base from which to explore the area, including cycling and walking. Responsive hosts.
I arranged an overnight stay during a road trip. Kinross was right location for stopover.
I am glad I found Kirklands Hotel, lovely place with friendly staff and good food.
Beautiful location overlooking the Loch. Plenty of trails close by for hiking and running. The cabin was spacious, clean and well stocked! We highly recommend it for families!

Great food in the newly expanded restaurant. Good location for travel within Kinross and Perthshire. Friendly hosts who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.
Set up was great, microwave and facilities were an added bonus. Situated in an ideal area with easy access to tourist and everyday facilities, excellent 👍
