the room was shabby, lots to the fronts of the draws had fallen off. The bathroom door didn't shut properly, the shower doors didn't shut and the shower fell of the wall if you tried to move the position. The room smelt of cigarette smoke.
it was a good location for Kew Gardens and Richmond Village. There were easy places to park. The beds were comfortable, and we slept fine

Lovely village feel, with cafes, interesting shops and lots of trees. Kew Gardens is a must, but we also walked to Kew Pier and took a boat trip to Richmond - a lovely half hour on the River Thames. Kew Gardens Station is on the District line of the London Underground, and it was easy to get to South Kensington for the Proms at the Albert Hall from here. Bus 110 is also worth knowing - especially if the District Line has bad delays! You can get from Hammersmith or Richmond (and beyond) back to Kew on it.

Kew Gardens were amazing, spent a whole day there. Didn't have time, but Richmond looked cool & biking skin the Thames... next time. I could've spent at least 3 nights there and not be bored. Also nice quiet town, good place to get over jet lag.

We are over 70 years of age and travelled from Scotland for an exhibition at Kew. Travelled in from London on the bus which we thoroughly enjoyed and allowed us to see the outlying areas in comfort, then back on the train. The guest house is within a 10-minute walk from train and bus stops, Kew Gardens and Archives. Situated in a lovely area with a few nice eateries and pubs. Well worth the visit.

We visited between seasons, ie Late April, so not very much was yet in bloom, but the glass houses were lovely. The eatery's were busy but clean and reasonably priced. Staff informative and helpful.

Staff were lovely, restaurant and bar were great.
Staff were lovely, restaurant and bar were great.
Room wasn’t as described.
Bed comfortable. Only noise was from occasional aircraft (before 11pm and after 6am) expected due to the location so didn’t bother us.
40 steps to room but listing stated no lift so not an issue.
No air con in room even though it was advertised.
Photos in listing look fantastic, heavily modified. Room we had was not in pictures and was very dated and in need of repair. Disappointed as paid extra for an executive room but felt more like a budget room. Had better quality at cheaper hotels.
The bed was comfortable, and the location was fantastic for what we needed. The fan included in the room was very powerful, so great in the summer. Backs onto the kew gardens train line, so if you're a light sleeper, it's very noisy (this didn't disrupt me personally, but I am a deep sleeper).
The dining, the friendliness of the staff was lovely. The location couldn't have been better. We walked to Kew Gardens and we were surprised at how close we were. We also walked around the area surrounding the hotel and loved it.
The location was absolutely perfect for our visit to Kew Gardens and for its proximity to the station. The flat was clean and comfortable and perfect for our needs.
Breakfast was very good.
Accomodation was ideally situated for visiting Kew Gardens. Walking distance from station. Good eating establishments near by.
