We were greeted by Stephen and Sharon, who made us very welcome. When we entered the Studio, we walked into the kitchen area, it was fitted out with all mod cons. We were then shown the shower room and when Sharon took us into the living/bedroom, a 4 poster bed greeted us. There was plenty of storage space, for clothes etc, TV with wi-fi. A wood burner fire, if needed. Sharon said if we needed to know anything, there was information sheets where everything was explained. Outside the patio doors our very own patio with table and chairs. A car park space was provided for our use, Sharon explained everything to us and said if we needed anything give her a shout. There was bacon, eggs and milk left in the fridge for us.

Nice room with spacious en-suite toilet and shower with lovely hot water. Bed especially comfortable. Good location with nice grounds and outside spaces. Hotel was easy to find. Plenty of parking. Its close to the A38, but I didn't find the road noise too intrusive. Menu a little expensive but top quality food. Staff so polite and helpful.

We were very lucky with the weather and had a wonderful walk on Dartmoor. We were happy with the local shops and parking. Ivybridge has much interesting local history too ! Near the noisy A38, but this makes Ivybridge very accessible!
We made a couple of trips to the coast from Ivybridge too.

Well positioned for walking in the National Park.
Well positioned for walking in the National Park. Just off the main road, so transport connections are good. There's also a main line train station and bus connections. Several shops, pubs offering accomodation, and restaurants. We had a very pleasant meal at Nandons (Indian).
Lots of parking available but some noisy motor bikes.

Beautiful short river walk within the picturesque village.
Beautiful short river walk within the picturesque village. Longer beautiful country walks within short distance. Viaduct nearby, large amazing garden centre, & lovely Main Street with a variety of small shops, pubs & church.
I have stayed in the Annex at Middle Filham. As before I was greeted by my host on arrival to greet me and see me into the property. We caught up on events since I was last there it was like a friendly homecoming. Inside the annex the heating was already on and although it was near freezing outside it was warm and cosy inside. The location is quiet with the excellent Filham Park close by and the village and shops of Ivybridge are a short walk or drive away.
Very beautiful location .Dog friendly. The hosts were very nice. Breakfast good. The property was very clean and comfortable. Ivybridge not too far if you need to eat after a long travel
Good location, clean property. Very comfortable and the cottage had everything that we needed. Close to Ivybridge which was handy for shopping or eating out.
