Amazingly comfortable and heartwarming hotel. On of the best stays we experienced during our trip to Scotland. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. Beautifully decorated and super comfortable beds. Nice location for several attractions.
As for the restaurant it was deliciously home made local cuisine that is a must even if you do not have the chance to stay there
Foyers House is a small family-run adult only guest house on the South side of Loch Ness. Foyers House has an enviable location having one of the highest view points above Loch Ness.

Beautiful setting, great food! Louise and Terry are wonderful hardworking hosts. Make reservations at the wee dram and be on time. Delicious and a beautiful view of the Loch while you dine.

The property is actually in the 2nd story of the building called the Caledonian Canal Centre. The white upper story in the main picture. We were able to easily access the hotel rooms from the left side of the building, walk upstairs to our room.

Lots of interesting things even though it was onky a small village. Loved our stay at Craig na Dav, a lovely B&B. Would highly recommend it. Comfortable accommodation with a great choice of breakfast. The sisters who run the place were really nice and made us so welcome,

I was slightly put off by the owner message that we had to arrive by a certain time for the key to be available. I think it was by 7 pm and it seemed as though she would not make exception for emergencies.

Invermoriston doesn't have anything in it, particularly, other than a nice coffee shop and one really, really good pub/restaurant (the only game in town, but it is luckily a good one). Is it really a "town," per se? Hard to tell. Sort of just a crossroads along driving/hiking routes. But it's very pretty!

Loved everything about it!! Wonderful hosts.
Loved everything about it!! Wonderful hosts. Really friendly, kind and helpful from booking through to the stay. Nothing too much trouble. The studio apartment we stayed in was absolutely spotless and well aired. Really comfy beds and sofa. Very well appointed / well supplied kitchen too (we picked up lovely food for our stay from a decent sized M&S foodhall a few miles away). Bathroom was great too. It's located in a brilliant spot and was perfect for our trip. I would recommend Lann Dearg to anyone. Would definitely book again if in the area, without hesitation. The best of it might actually have been the delight of hearing SO much birdsong!! Birds, like Bees seem to have declined a huge amount since my childhood (I'm 50 and based in England as a child and for the last 10 years) and this was just fantastic to hear. Saw a few birds on the lawn I've not seen for a very long time too. Just loved it. Oooh and the night sky!!
Staff was awsome! Can we just stop for a second and appreciate the signs for the car park? :) not allowed vehicles will be fed to the monster! So many things, little things that made this stay so perfect! Free pool, welcoming launch, small shop - beers, ciders, some small snacks! also access to the beach and really steady beds and let me tell you in many hostels the beds are like made for one use only! This hostel knows that if one person move, no one has to know that! Keep that level of accommodation and guests will come!thanks a lot!
The site and the location were ideal for touring Loch Ness and the surrounding area. A 10 minute drive to Fort Augustus and 1 hour drive to Inverness and the Isle of Skye, with easy access on to the main road. The site was quiet and surrounded with beautiful scenery. The Great Glen Way was virtually on the doorstep and Invermoriston Falls at the end of the site. Ideal for walking. The hosts, who made us feel really welcome, tried really hard to make everything as Covid safe as possible and did a great job.
This was a lovely little updated cabin in nature, close to trails, lochs and the nearest city. The owners were friendly and very helpful. The reviews had warned to bring food with us, which we did. We took day trips to Inverness, Isle of Skye and Eileen Donan Castle. This was a great location and cabin for the price. We had worried the cabin would be old and rustic, which it was not. The owners had kept it in good condition, the furniture was new and comfortable. Perfect for two people.
We stayed here as we walked the Great Glen Way. It was a wonderful oasis after a day of walking. The room was small but comfortable with twin beds and spacious washroom. Very very clean. The common areas were welcoming with friendly guests chatting over a beer or wine.
The restaurant was very special! incredible dinner! One of the best of the trip and excellent breakfast and packed lunch as well.
The front desk was super informative and also very welcoming. We highly recommend!
The owners have thought of everything regarding the accommodation, facilities and equipment, resulting in a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. They are very welcoming, thoughtful and kind. There is the added bonus of the amazing bird watching window and the possibility of seeing other highland wildlife. Great location and interesting things to see in the village. Highly recommended.
Nicky and Jayson were perfect hosts, friendly, enthusiastic and helpful.
We will be more than happy to stay on another occasion.
The next door pub/restaurant/hotel only a stroll away meant we could have a drink/meal without needing the car.
The location is excellent for touring the Highlands- Skye is just one hour away by car. The nearby Plodda falls is an absolute must also.
What a wonderful experience to stay with these two sisters and their puppy Alva! Such a quaint cottage with the garden and wildlife all around. We were served a traditional Scottish breakfast, and it was wonderful, even the haggis! We felt very welcomed here and the next time I'm in Scotland, I am making it a point to stay here again!
The cottage has a wow factor for self catering accommodation! We loved the location and it is very clean and comfortable (the bed is not as firm as we like it but that is our personal preference). The basket of welcome goodies is a lovely touch and very well appreciated. Waking up to even a partial view of the Loch was fabulous!
Lovely comfortable, clean and well equipped accommodation. Thomas was very friendly and welcoming. Bed very comfortable and good shower. Plenty of tourist information available. Very short walk to see the waterfalls. Would definitely return.
Ideal hotel for visiting the area or walking the great glen way. Reception, restaurant and bar staff all very helpful and attentive. Comfortable rooms, clean, good ensuite facilities. Good evening meals and superb breakfast.
Garden cottage very comfortable, staff were attentive and clearly committed to your satisfaction.
Restaurant was elegant with a highland feel served excellent food, well cooked and presented
Breakfast was really good. Good coffee. The host booked a dinner table for us at the Glenmoriston Arms Hotel in advance, as it is the only place in town to eat dinner and is quickly sold out.
Breakfast was wonderful and tailored to our requests. The rooms and bathrooms were large and had a nice tea/snack option. We loved our stop here as we drove from Skye to Inverness.
This accommodation was clean, comfortable and very welcoming. The owner was lovely, and you could tell she took pride in her bed and breakfast. I would recommend this place.
The location and the friendliness of the staff.
Accommodations are spartan but clean and comfortable.
I would stay again and will certainly recommend it to others.
