Great location. Harbour view room was great. Room had all you needed. Good size with good quality bed/bed linen. Shower/bath was great and extremely clean. Staff were friendly and accommodating inc booking local restaurant for us and getting us 10% off the bill. Breakfast was very good. Breakfast staff were very accommodating too, I asked for extra waffles after kitchen closure time but they still did this for me with no issues.

Our stay at Inverlael Bothy Cottage was truly amazing.

Our stay at Inverlael Bothy Cottage was truly amazing. The Bothy Cottage has been beautifully restored and is full of Olde World charm and character: - exposed beams, mezzanine and original stonework. The views of the surrounding mountains and loch are spectacular, from the adjoining conservatory, along with the host's herd of cows and hens. The host's hospitality and friendly warmth are second to none. Fresh eggs were provided and we were made to feel very welcome. If you are looking for a loving, caring holiday home, with an exceptional host and hospitality Inverlael Farmhouse and Bothy Cottage should be your number 1 choice.

The location of the property was perfect for our stay with comfy beds that allowed for a good night's sleep. The cleanliness of this property let it down - especially the bathroom. Hairs, dirt and dead insects on floor. Very old shower may folded on shelf in cupboard under sink covered in cobwebs, mould and dirt. Old tube of Blisteeze also on shelf. Razor cover at side of sink. Bath and toilet mat dirty. Clothing labels on shelf in main bedroom. Bed side lights and sockets in twin room didn't work - one didn't even have a bulb. One bedside light in main room didn't work. Kitchen floor was very sticky and had a strong smell of wet dog. Draining rack at side of sink very sticky and unclean. Strong smell from sink. Dirty cleaning cloths in basin. Stairs weren't hoovered. Windows dirty. Blind in living room didn't close nor did curtains at foot of stairs. Whilst the owner stayed next door we didn't see her to pass on our concerns of cleanliness especially given the current situation with Covid.

Very disappointed in the quality of the accommodation.

Very disappointed in the quality of the accommodation. Needs a major refurbishment. Facilities not as advertised. Outside area needing attention. With the infestation of midges and the visit of a mouse in the main living area we spent most evenings camped out in the main bedroom. Not the relaxing evenings we had in mind after a day exploring the beautiful West Coast of Scotland.
