This guesthouse is a fantastic place to stay. Clean, the host was so friendly and couldn’t do enough. The decor was very historical which was themed around an old post office with fantastic artifacts around the building. Not only a pleasure to stay but also the hight of interest. Hythe is equally beautiful. This guest house is in a fantastic location just of the main hight street but equally quiet at night and we stayed at the weekend. The bed was very comfortable enabling a good night’s sleep for the following day and the room was large. Recommended. High praise. Would stay again.

We upgraded to Bear Lodge which was totally amazing. Loved the fire, huge shower room and beds were comfortable.

Quiet little seaside town, not much to do on the beachfront when you compare it to other places like Brighton or Hastings, but if you are looking for a peaceful get away Hythe is lovely. Some nice pubs and restaurants aswell as lovely local shops. All the people we met were very polite and friendly.

The hotel and its comfort are the main attraction. There is a Waitrose and Sainsbury nearby and all the attractions are no more than 30 mins away so great as a base for Dungeness, Romney, Rye, Dover and Ramsgate.

Hythe is a typical seaside venue. older persons asset rich cash poor pretty town . lovely architecture and church . shops from the 70s it would appeal to those wanting attractive walks and the Hythe and Dymchurch railway , the lighthouses etc . My 11 year old son and I enjoyed it very much for two days.
The room air-conditioner was broke so the room was extremely hot for 2 nights and nothing was done until the night before we left so we had no time to move room due to having plans and duty manager Julie explained this now was our fault, which is extremely upsetting to us with no help compensation or apology.
Some The leisure facilities were out of use but no mention of this before arriving to the hotel as apparently the leisure facilities arnt the hotel responsibility!!
(This should be clearly stated when advertising the hotel)
This is a delightful hotel situated near the coast in the lovely town of Hythe. The furnishings are beautifully chosen and retro, which gives the stay some character. It's at the end of the high street, so an easy walk into town or down to the beach.
Jamie is a fantastic host and a great source of stories and local knowledge.
I would definitely stay again to explore the town further and drink a pint with him!
Breakfast was very very good I had an English breakfast but also had the Granola and that was very superb. Location was ok could do with a shuttle or a taxi based at the hotel I think. Was lovely for what we wanted. Also rooms was next door like I’d asked so that was really good as well so I really appreciate that.
The staff was quick to respond when I arrived a little earlier than planned. The location is perfect for walks around Hythe; to the shops, cafes and the beautiful church as well as through the park to the beach. Parking is just around the corner (paid during the day).
Only ever book room as breakfast too expensive and we like to walk to Hythe Town and eat there.
Location is perfect ideal for lots of walking and rooms very good value ..Hotel bars are always expensive but staff very friendly and we will be there again.
the style and comfort and decoration off the hotel5 star the staff very polite room had lots extras dressing gown slippers ,and the stay included our own private buggy to drive around the park
and the room nice and warm in a frosty Jan
Lovely chalet type accommodation within easy walking distance of Hythe centre and further down to the sea front. A comfortable stay with everything I needed to cook a meal. Very convenient parking at the front of the main property.
The hotel was as expected and suited the purpose of our stop over, the price was fair, the room comfortable and a good size for the family, the facilities were as expected and the location is perfect for a visit to Hythe.
The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean, it was quiet but we were out of season. We had booked to be near Hythe High Street (for a friend's birthday celebrations) and the location was very convenient.
Perfect location for Le Shuttle. Walked into Hythe which was a lovely town. We had bikes on the back of the car and were able to store these safely overnight. It was so much nicer than a stay in a hotel.
The facility is right on the beach, and close to downtown, which is a pleasant collection of small shops. Staff was very helpful. The town is worthy h a visit. I’ll include this hotel on my next visit.
Hotel lovely, staff great. Buffet breakfast a bit hectic. Unfortunately ac on floor not working so too hot. Staff were fab and brought fans to try and cool down.
